  1. Zidane has said he doesn't want to go into management.
  2. The ref was poor, if you weren't blinkered you could see that. And as for pishing yourself....
  3. would you care to point out which comments are blinkered. And, oh, you are a blinkered fan. And as for not looking for bites... pull the other one.
  4. Why? did anyone say Liverpool didn't deserve to win? Or is it just a classic case of you having absolutely no humility whatsoever?* * this will now obviously be claimed as a "bite" etc and so on and so forth...
  5. well said Ajja.
  6. Apparently McDonald was ill, manc. Ross's defending was ok but a couple of times he looked like a guy who hadn't played in a while - was struggling to get back to his man once he'd been beaten etc. Agree about Paton by the way, think we have to play him through the middle and not out wide.
  7. Weird you should say that, I was just thinking the same... I know a guy down here who regularly is invited to the corporate hospitality at Firhill by the directors of Fatprick Whistle. The boy that we were after last season who eventually signed for Dundee (i forget his name) went for £150k. We made a bid of £40k. But £500k? That's mental...
  8. No apologies necessary chief, I understand the sentiment all too well unfortunately. It is poor fare, no getting away from it. I'm crossing my fingers and praying to the Gods that things work out for us in the next transfer window because that is going to be hugely important not just for this season but the following season too. As for your second point... I'd start cleaning your putter if I were you...
  9. That's bollocks mate. I know you're not happy with things just now and I respect your opinion but that is nonsense. The entertainment factor under JC was nil, under McGhee it's nil.
  10. Come on, there was obviously a high wind in Liverpool today, Torres couldn't stay on his feet until he saw the chance to score.
  11. I agree, Carragher's yellow was prob just a yellow, but what about the TWO times he went through the back of Rooney? At least one of those was a yellow, if not a red for both of them. Refs are supposed to book players who go to ground and then go through the back of players. Carragher did it twice but wasn't booked. Joke. Lucas must have committed about 8 fouls and yet was never booked. Care to explain that? Vidic deserved to be sent off, he took one for the team (at 1-0 down), I think he was probably complaining that Carragher was getting away with murder, as he seemed to suggest after Carragher's booking that had it been him he'd have been off. Liverpool beat United last season at Anfield without both Gerrard and Torres. Does that mean that Liverpool don't need torres and Gerrard? If you think it does, you're tripping. Over the course of a season, Liverpool need Torres and Gerrard, simple as that.
  12. Anderson should have started. Lucas - love child of Craig Bellamy and Val Kilmer.
  13. 2-0 Liverpool. Probably deserved victory for the professional grievers, United not really at the races today. Vidic sent off for a third straight game v Liverpool, but I thought he played well today. Rio on the other hand... man the fuck up Ferdinand. Not the first time this season he's been out-muscled. The ref was an utter joke. Apparently Lucas is a "yellow card free zone", committed a shit load of fouls but was never booked. Carragher should have been sent off (through the back of Rooney twice and then a foul on Owen when it looked as though he was through) no matter how you look at it. West Ham v Arsenal coming up which I think could be a good game. Although West Ham are down the bottom of the league they always have a go and play decent football. If they get the first goal it could be a really open game. Bolton beat Everton 3-2...not sure if that's a shock or not!
  14. His distribution is worse than Kerr's. Won some good challenges but concedes possession far too cheaply
  15. In the case of Fyvie, the big clubs down south definitely know all about him.
  16. I hope it hurries up then because he was absolute murder today. His passing is guff, his movement is worse, his tackling is weak and he showed absolutely none of the credentials a captain has to show. However, the thing about his play that really frustrates me is that he is incapable of striking a ball. How can a centre midfielder be utterly useless at shooting like that? In fact, how can a professional footballer be so inept at hitting the ball? You can even see that he knows his shooting is worse than shite, and if that's the case why the fuck is he not working on it? Kerr can be a good player, we all saw it last season, but if he continues like that then I'd get shot of him in January. Nobody got pass marks today, perhaps maybe Maurice Ross who was ok. Miller's miss was utterly shocking as was Fyvie's but I think at least in Fyvie's case you could say he thought about it too much and was exceptionally early in the game. A couple of points of note to Chris Maguire; Look up when you have the ball, you made us lose a potentially brilliant chance to break by not looking up and then running into a dead end. You are not Diego Maradona. You don't have to go on a mazy run everytime you get the ball. Stop running like a girl.
  17. They didn't refuse to feed you Dave, they just couldn't be arsed to do it before you had to leave.. Anyway... I take it Pawlett is out for this one? Ross in at right back, Foster to centre back?
  18. What you moaning about then? You asked what the problem was, you were given an honest answer! Good customer service. No, no i don't have such a thing, I only go in to improve the clientele.
  19. No, it's generally alright. However, if you've ordered food (was it chips..?) and not asked them where the fuck it is after an hour and a half then... ye know?
  20. I'll be in the Bobbin, unfortunately.
  21. a tempting offer, Mini but alas I think the game will go ahead.. much to my disappointment, of course.
  22. Folk on Mad and the Hat (Mad Hatters?) saying that the game could be called off due to rain. Fuckin better not, also better not be a late inspection as my train is at 9.30 and i don't want to be stuck in Aberdeen all day with no football to go to...
  23. You lost then. Nae luck.
  24. This was only after he had been told of the board's annoyance that certain young players weren't being given a chance despite other coaches at the club telling the manager they were more than ready. Do you really believe that the scouts at Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Villa etc are not aware of his talent without Joe Harper telling the world he'll be a better player than Willie Miller? People in the game will be aware of exactly how good a prospect he is.
