Duff, Mackie, Young and Wright to leave?

No, they've moved on. It's all about successful protests and failed chippers now... -

I think it was yesterday's retard. I just copied it from the hat to be honest... -
Duff, Mackie, Young and Wright to leave?
BobbyBiscuit replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I'd keep Duff and I'd probably keep Mackie til the summer and then let him go. Duff I think is a good enough squad player for us. Young has never been good enough and there's just no point in Wright being here as he's never "fit". -
As per usual, no direct quotes about the players mentioned

Cunt Speaks: "Deflect, Deflect, Deflect"

I'll bet the windows are clean on that bus... -
He was an incredible player. I love Dumitrescu's second goal in this game, so subtle but brilliant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnNliThxA7c&feature=related

I'd have kicked him in the head for doing an Oasis song.

Yeah, but the atmosphere at every other game is great... Are you kidding? Come on, which teams are going to vote to lose the income of playing the OF (potentially) twice more to bring in Dundee, Ross Co, Partick Thistle, Morton etc? I don't disagree with your proposal at all, but Aberdeen themselves wouldn't vote for it would they (they would be mad to, on a purely business level) ?

I remember the New Firm days too mate. But are you seriously suggesting that Miller, McLeish, McGhee, Black, Hewitt, simpson, McKimmie, Nicholas, Sturrock etc were no better than the guys we're watching these days? Scottish footballers today, in my view, are fucking garbage. You are suggesting otherwise, good for you to have such a positive attitude about it, but you're wrong. You're very, very wrong. A positive outlook is lovely, it's no substitute for a realistic outlook, however.

I like seeing us against those teams, but can you say with hand on heart that you look forward to those fixtures as much as you do for the ones against the tims and huns? When the fixtures are announced at the start of the season do you rush to see when we're playing hibs at home or to see when we're playing the huns at home? I know what your answer is.
-
Lovely. But the problem is we've lost our European places cos us and Hibs went into the Champs League and got fuck all points, United and Hearts got less than that in the Europa League and then we have no TV money coming in because the two bigot brothers have fucked off. And because of that, sponsorship hits the lowest levels ever. Players leave and the players we bring in to replace them are almost 1st/2nd division level, but hey.. we may still win the league... Eventually we'd be part time in a full time stadium. Take the romantic view all you want, and many do for some reason. The OF leave and we're up the swanny, make no mistake about that. I hate them as much as the next man, but if you even begin to kid yourself on that the rest can cope without them then you're in dream world. The game has changed far too much for that to be the case.

You'd surely miss beating them? You'd surely miss the build up to the matches against them at Pittodrie? They go, and who do you look forward to? United? Hertz? Hibs? Hamilton? And that's the most exciting it'd get all season. It's not that exciting as it is with the OF, but it's a hell of a lot more interesting with them than without them. Some people will never admit to that, but if we're ever to win that league again I want us to do it by beating those two cunts. A fair wedge would be swiped off my satisfaction were we to win it after the OF had gone...

I was up in Aberdeen this weekend and was told this morning this was on. Unfortunately for me my train home was at half three so I missed this. Did anyone here go? The lads on Mad who went seem to think it was a worthwhile venture and some bad PR for messrs Kerr and McDonald it would seem: http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=4&fid=27&sty=2&act=1&mid=2124272999 (sorry Stand Free Ed for linking directly to your site etc [should i apologise for that? I don't know], cheers man)

Yeah, so my point stands about those young players then, doesn't it?
-
If it meant more money and greater opportunity for us in a football and marketing sense then I'd be all for it... if we didn't do it, someone else would. (not that it would ever happen, of course). I've said it before that I think the OF leaving the SPL would be nothing but a disaster for Scottish Football.
-
That young player Jamie Smith, good point...
-
As I said in the football chat section, McGhee's spot on. Call it delusional if you want (it almost certainly is), but then so are the OF's dreams of playing down south. If Celtic care to remember, in the early 90's when this was mentioned by the English, the teams who were going to be invited were the huns and us. That was because we were the best sides and because the TV dollar hadn't come into play at that point.

You're not wrong Kow. Absolute irrelevant guff. What has any of the above got to do with how Miller does his job? So you don't do it for the money, but still find just cause to mention how little a broke club are paying you? Just what the club needs, Joey, more mud slung at it in public from those who love the club...oh, sorry, you just like the club. But you love entertaining folk in your lounge.. that the club gave you, in their stadium... Yeah, cos it's all about Joey Harper eh? Fuck all to do with Bobby Clark at the other end keeping them out? If you were chocolate etc and so on and so forth... Did that really happen, Joey? Really?? Good on ye. I've met Miller a few times and he's been nothing but an utter gent every time. The fact you put your knife and fork down doesn't make you any more or less of a hero. Willie Miller is the finest and most influential player we have ever had and probably will ever have in my lifetime. The fact he may not enjoy the limelight as much as a certain former overweight prolific striker doesn't make him less of a hero and doesn't belittle anything he achieved for the club - which was colossal, in case anyone missed it... Could have got beaten four or five nil, but didn't. Credit where it's due. And maybe it's nothing to do with none of them being brave enough to come up and abuse you, maybe they just don't care what a bitter old man has to say about them? Yeah, Joey, cos Fergie was completely wrong to get rid of you. If only he'd kept you we could have gone on to win league titles, cups and maybe even conquer Europe.. oh, wait... Of course Fergie's not moved on, but good to see you have by not being bitter about a man who told you to leave a football club 30 years ago. And of course, Fergie's a cunt for going on about charity work but when you do it it's really cool... The only person Joe Harper has anything good to say about is Joe Harper. I said on here that he in general he wasn't wrong in what he said after the Dundee game, but he's jumped the shark now. It's as if he's saying "Don't forget I was your hero too." It's bordering on the tragic.

Pawlett with two and Ross got the other.
-
Really? When was the last time we brought through three players at once who can play to such an accomplished level? It's not "every season", I'll tell you that right now.
-
when I was away the thing that we couldn't believe is the number of folk spending literally all day on the internet - mainly facebook. There was one lad in our room at one of the hostels who would get up at 6am, dress in all white (trousers, shirt and t-shirt) with crocodile skin shoes and always wore shades, and go and sit at the laptop typing away - at very strange angles i have to say - on facebook. Then, approx 6 hours later (so we were told) he'd go and change into all black and return to facebook. Fucking freakazoid.

Bratislava had the most beautiful women i've ever seen and there were fucking loads of them, too. Get out there and get in about it Andrew!
