  1. When you see the replay of the Scholes yellow card you may change your mind MM. He tried to kick him twice, made sure he wasn't getting past him. Anyone watching the "Greatest club game in the world" (sic) today..?
  2. If you keep your shite going so will you be.
  3. I'm getting pretty bored with you.. x2
  4. ...are they going to kill us? Anyone who can remember the Porterfield era will recognise the similarities - unfortunately Porterfield thought that because we had the best defence in the world (true story) that he could buy shoddy front players - Hackett, Jones and Edwards - and there seemed to be no emphasis on attacking play, even when he signed Charlie Nick and had Paul Wright, Davie Dodds, John Hewitt, Stevie Gray already in the squad. We were fucking murder and he should have fucked off well before he actually did. And then, in more recent history, Willie's second full season. We came second in the league by 3 points. We drew half of our matches. That is painful. A league title for Willie Miller and that team...? What would we be talking about now...? Mini and Stoney fishing, no doubt....
  5. Have to say i thought Berbatov was one of United's better players today MM. Rooney was woeful. Nani was even worse, how did he survive the hook? I'm told that had Ronaldo stayed in the summer, he was to be sold to Inter. Fergie is not convinced, and going on this form (he's been picked against the "easy" sides mostly) he'll be sold next summer. As much as I love Paul Scholes, he's a red card waiting to happen these days and that's why he was subbed at half time.
  6. We desperately need an old head in that team. Can't think of anyone better than Russell to be honest. He may not be "talking" and "managing" but i'd much rather Russell played for us and led by example than we had David Weir playing for us, know what I mean?
  7. it's an hour and 11 minutes ahead for some reason, for me. anyone else?
  8. That's the thing though, he can't say "I want to sign for the Dons" until he knows what plans Steve Bruce has for him (if any at all). I'd imagine his agent has contacted the EE to set this up, they wouldn't print it with absolutely no substance, not even the EE and Charlie Allan are that shite, surely?
  9. Yeah, we picked up on that, Kow...
  10. I don't think Anderson would be that demanding re wages. He's earned a relative fortune in the last couple of seasons - much more than he could have got here - I'd imagine he'd want to be just playing football in his last few seasons as a top professional.
  11. Both you and I wouldn't Al, believe me. And her boyfriend would have been fucking raging too. That would just have added to the "LOL" factor though...
  12. You do wonder if this is Miller's lack of "sturdiness" coming back to haunt him (and us)?
  13. Worst thing is that he clearly shouts to Vidic to leave it, but then gets nowhere near it. Why not come out in front of Jones rather than where Jones is? Fucking brainless goalkeeping.
  14. No wonder, I met his daughter last night (I've known her for a few years) and gave her pelters.
  15. Blonde pigeons Al, i wasn't there and if McGhee's words have worked then good stuff. As long as he's one of our players we need a Lee Miller in form.
  16. Man Utd 2 Sunderland 2. United equalise in injury time through Anton Ferdinand's og. Ben Foster had another monumental fuck up for Sunderland's second. The guy is simply not good enough for United. Cracking goals from Bent and Berbatov.
  17. That is a good job, a better job would be dropping the lazy cunt though. If you're telling him to sharpen up, but he's still getting a game... he must know that there's not much threat to his place. It's this theory in football these days that you have to have a big guy up front, I'd personally like to see a couple of the pacier players through the middle for us. Don't get me wrong, if Miller was playing to anywhere near his potential I'd pick him every week, but the fact is he isn't and hasn't done for a long time. he's been a wage thief this season from what I've seen.
  18. Runs like a girl.
  19. This would be fantastic for us if he came home. A real leader, a quality player and someone who loves the Dons*. I'm genuinely sorry for him that it's not worked out for him down south but if it means he comes back to us then... Can't see those in charge of the purse strings going for this though. *minijc will be along anytime soon saying "he wisnae that good etc"
  20. It's really windy up here today Al, same down there? I'm getting a bad feeling about today...
  21. yeah, I do it manc. Needless to say I've won the square root of fuck all on it.
  22. Bad form posting up your winnings after the event Lee! do you only ever bet on the UEFA Cup or do you bet on league games too?
  23. Considine really has to step up and take control of the defence tomorrow. He has to be the one going for every high ball with conviction otherwise we'll get bullied. Duff at right back?
  24. Agreed Sharpie, wasn't a great game but the atmosphere was unbelievable. To this day, I've never seen the number of folk outside looking for tickets to any match at Pittodrie as I did that day. there was some amount of boxing at the Broadhill after it as well. Shearer's goal was an absolute peach.
