  1. Can't imagine - and i'd certainly hope he wouldn't - he'd be rushing to offer them deals. He'd also have to find both of them first...
  2. Beggars can't be choosers etc and so on and so forth
  3. If only... I'm also getting a message now saying "You last post was less than 1 second ago. Please try again later". 1 second? How the fuck is that even possible!?
  4. The Counting House is a hellhole. Probably best to stay away from that area, as there are a lot of hun pubs round there, including the Europa or whatever it's called under Queen St Station. What time you arriving in Glasgow?
  5. speaking of which, has Sammy Stewart been included in any of the squads this season?
  6. It could be the making of them. None of them have looked over-awed so far, have they? And it's not as if they're facing a hun midfield of Wilkins, Steven et al.
  7. I'm having trouble posting now (you'll all be pleased to hear!), it goes straight to a "Page can not be displayed" screen, and when i hit refresh it says "You do not have permission to start a new topic on this board" even though it's not a new topic i'm starting.
  8. See when you've been to as many games as me, come back and talk to me.
  9. How many of these dour faces does he have exactly?
  10. Cracker. Calling one of our greatest ever players a cunt. And as for your second point, you have no basis for saying Meldrum is a better option. athletes compared to me, at least...
  11. True, but the point still stands... we have too many players not fit enough to wear the jersey. His case is only one of many that is entirely indicative of this.
  12. I don't think it's fair to single anyone out really, but Mackie has been guff for ten years and you can bang on all you want about "x amount of managers have played him" it doesn't change the fact he is a poor player. TEN YEARS. Crikey.
  13. Not sure if this is posted elsewhere but it's tagged on to the same story on the BBC
  14. One of the few times in my life I agree with Joe Harper. There is absolutely no character in that side and he's bang on the money in saying that we have athletes on the pitch, not footballers.
  15. It's all ifs buts and maybes though. And for the record, I'm led to believe he would have seen not a penny of that money for transfers.
  16. Yes, and you also have to ask yourself what sort of opportunity cost was taken into account over whether JC stayed or not. As I said, it was a gamble. It may still come off for us but I am far from convinced it will, unfortunately.
  17. Perhaps it is understandable, but as you allude to yourself, what was wrong with 2 year contracts?
  18. That's more to do with the decision to reward them with 3 year contracts. That's what was needlessly expensive. I don't disagree with you there with any of that, but the fact is that sometimes you have to gamble. I personally think we were stagnating and had been doing so for some time, without getting into it fully, we had only won a few matches in 2009, if they had stayed with them for this season and that continued (it may well do under McGhee of course) the board would get pelters for that too.
  19. "needless management changes" is a matter of opinion though.
  20. No, it's not the whole point. I'm sure people wanted Milne out before the managerial change.
  21. Let's not re-write history Mizer. For a large chunk of his time with us Severin was at best uninterested. For a player of his ability - a far better talent than Kerr - I'd say that is at least as frustrating as Kerr not producing the form we know he can. Oh, and Caterpillars? How 1990's...
  22. and who do we replace him with exactly? There's hardly a long queue waiting to take on his position and our debt is there?
  23. Inter Ma Lamb I think it is Kow...
