  1. An article on the Dons from the Scottish Football online magazine The Away End: (pretty long winded but generally a pretty good piece with a wee nod to our friends at the hat and how they were advised not to protest)
  2. You're obviously not down with da kidz, RDU...
  3. UEFA bang on about "RESPECT"... well, respect has to work both ways and also has to be earned.
  4. I'd rather Wilkie "played".
  5. I've only got a couple of 2 to watch then i'll be on 3. But, I have to squash any claims that The Wire is better than the Sopranos. It isn't. The only thing that you could say links the two is that they both have start and end credits....
  6. I thought 2 was far quicker and far better than series one.
  7. His studs were up from the minute his foot left the ground. He was fucking at it. At least if he got a red it would actually have confirmed he had turned up over the two legs as he appeared to run away from Vidic in the first leg and just appeared to do fuck all in this one.
  8. Going by his description, i have no idea, but i think maybe Adebayor... horrible challenge.
  9. Howard Webb got pelters for not seeing the ball deviate when Carrick went down two weeks ago, how did this ref not see it tonight? Or is it ok cos it's United who were punished? (I'm not saying this against you FJ, just that your comment is likely to echo many of those who wish United to fail)
  10. Got a feeling this game could turn a wee bit nasty, can see a few of the Arsenal players losing the head a touch.
  11. Glad to see Sir Alex still takes my advice on these matters: VDS JOS Rio Vida Evra Carrick Anderson Fletcher Park Ronaldo Rooney
  12. So in a league of 12 he's one of the better shot stoppers but isn't in the top 3 or 4? Which would then suggest he's one of the more average shot stoppers in the league! Even when you're giving him praise you're doing him down!
  13. It's a dangerous game for United tonight. Ferguson's hinted he'll sit back and hit them on the counter attack but I'd be loathe to invite Arsenal on to any team at the Emirates. An early goal for them could really get their tails up. If United get a goal it is surely over and would knock the stuffing out of Arsenal and open it up even more for United, so I hope they go at Arsenal from the off.
  14. I don't think he's really in any position to play hardball with us.
  15. yeah, totally. The guy was going to use BT to help him cheat on my chick. So i phoned up and threatened him complained about it and it got taken off air. Seriously, I never actually saw this episode but I read something in the paper about it.
  16. Supposedly there was one that was only shown a couple of times cos he was at a party and a girl gave him her number. He then used a BT Landline (after 6pm to utilise free evening and weekend calls) to instigate a potential affair... and predictably people complained about that and it got scrubbed.
  17. aye, fair point re Geovanni, does look like a narky wee tit. Phil Brown has obviously decided Cousin holds the advantage and has subbed the Brazilian at half time.
  18. Villa one up at half time against Hell City. Geovanni and Daniel Cousin had to be seperated by coaching staff on the way to the tunnel as Geovanni complained about Cousin not making a run to the back post towards the end of the first half. Wouldn't expect Geovanni to stand much of a chance against him, but even on what he's done in the rest of the game and how was at the huns, it's clear Cousin has anger management issues.
  19. I wouldn't mess with the NGE, mate... well, not on my own, anyway Was just watching it there, it was hovering over what looked to be Charing X area, but was really high up, possibly looking at the motorway.
  20. Agree with that tlg, they also appear to have a bit more of fight in them than us.
  21. Yes. I've got a thing for the BT woman. I personally think she should have binned that prick ages ago, mostly because he was in "My Family", which was hellish.
  22. ...and therein lies the problem, Jamie. You haven't been working for a considerable time now. How the fuck can you be unhappy with the club for not pissing the little cash we do have on someone who has been seen less than Shergar over the last three seasons? And the irony in that is that if Smith was a horse he'd have been taken to the glue factory ages ago. We've all said it, we all want to see a fit Jamie Smith in an Aberdeen side. But the bottom line is if he's perenially injured how can we keep him on? I feel sorry for him, but I'm so frustrated with this guy's situation (as I'm sure he is ten times as frustrated about it) and I have to say now that if JC offers him a new contract I will be rather pissed off to say the least.
  23. was on about 5 mins ago, it'll be on again no doubt.
  24. Most of the 83 side were at the Player of the Year awards last night, and Archie Knox, Willie Miller and Stuart Kennedy were interviewed about Alex Ferguson and how he may win the EPL and CL this season again. Not sure if there's going to be more about them on later, as they started the piece by talking about us beating Real Madrid almost 26 years ago. Showed you Strachan, Cooper, Bell, Hewitt and McMaster as well as those interviewed.
  25. Langfield for me too.
