  1. All of the above is very true, my only gripe is that I don't think we're really close to closing the gap with the OF. The huns and tims are horrific. Absolutely awful to watch and they are undoubtedly regressing. I just wish we weren't regressing too.
  2. Barcodes one down v Bob Stokoe.
  3. why is no one in chat? is it an online protest?
  4. harping on? It was one post and it was meant in good humour.
  5. Yeah, he's finding it hard to sit down, I'd bet.
  6. Did you not hear he OWNED Raul in HIS OWN STADIUM?
  7. I've put the bindippers/londonhunwanks game on cos the Barca one is dead now I think (cue another 4 goals going in!), but when did Skrtel all of a sudden start defending like a spastic? "England's Brave" John Terry just headbutted Reina in the chest while going for a header and was booked for his troubles and is out for the next leg. Imbecile. 2-1 Londonhuns, ivanovic.
  8. Van Bommel's a nutcase. A really good player, right enough.
  9. I'm going against the tide here now it seems, but I'm still a JMG-er!! Does that mean I have to get a Bosman to KKK?
  10. http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/1161467?UserKey= Hopefully nothing too serious.
  11. All I would say is "where have United looked most vulnerable this season?", and it's down the wings. Brown's been a huge miss. I know for a fact that a captain of a top Scottish Club still thinks Severin is one of the top players in Scotland. He's captain of Aberdeen. You heard it here first.
  12. Rafael is a wing back, in my view. Neville has always been a solid full back, but never really "that" good in the way his year was (Butt, Scholes, Giggs, Beckham etc). I'd pick Brown ahead of him every day of the week. he's quick, reads the game well, he's strong, can tackle, cross, commanding in the air... cracking full back (considering he's actually a CB) for United and they've missed him hugely this season.
  13. In the last two seasons, he's been in United's top five players in each of them in my opinion. You look at how much better he is than Neville, O'Shea, Rafael... and the fact he won MOTM twice against Barca last season, set up the goal in the CL Final etc. And United have clearly missed him this season.
  14. Not entirely sure about that, but it was a cracking game tonight. It's probably better for United that they have to play for a win, rather than a draw. Depends on injuries as well, Evans went off again tonight and if Rio isn't back, then that's bad news. Hopefully Wes Brown appears at somepoint too!!
  15. Just seen the goals from that game, two crackers. Marcos Senna is a wonderful player. Watched the United-Porto game and that was a cracker too, definitely the way games should be in the CL. Hopefully the second legs are just as good.
  16. Why was my post deleted from this?
  17. Why would you want to keep any of the current management team if you want the manager changed? I don't disagree that Nicholl may be a good coach, but he's still been there all that time (see also: Aitken, Roy).
  18. Certainly was. Good game all round, about the most open game in the Champs League for years...and next up, Liverpool v Chelsea...
  19. And they're from AFC-Chat, you say? Sure about that?
  20. Euro matchball and JC out, for me...and yes, I know it won't happen like that.
  21. I wasn't suggesting Calderwood should stay.
  22. I've said this before on here, but I remember the Smith protest, and the thing about that was that - to the best of my knowledge - it wasn't pre-planned. Another dismal result spurred people to do it, I just think that something planned so far in advance, when the anger was still in the system, may turn out to be a non-event now that has subsided, especially (and please, God) the Dons win.
  23. and went almost a year without winning a game with Derby.
