I've seen Carlos in the flesh (so to speak) a few times and i would put my last pound on Hodgkiss being smaller. Maybe it's just that JH has got short dumpy legs that makes him look about 2'8".

Seriously? When I saw Hodgekiss at Killie, I could have sworn he was the smallest footballer I've ever seen in my life. Says on Wiki that he's 5'8, I have to say I doubt that. I can't really say about Kennedy but McKimmie was fantastic in the air for his height, and was basically a world class full back.

You've changed your tune! In all seriousness though, it's a good letter and hard to argue with any of that. I sent a similar letter to Chris Gavin when he said he'd respond to all fans' emails. I'm still awaiting a response. Milne's reply to you is also good to see, and I'd certainly hope to see no more mention of this "unrealistic expectations" bullshit anymore. Of course, the clowns at Aberdeen Journals may well spin it that way regardless of what's actually been said.

Well, who are they? Unfortunately I've not made it to as many games as I'd hoped this season, so don't feel qualified to say who's been the best player so far, but interested to see who you lot think has been our best. Although, I have to say the biggest disappointment for me has been Tommy Wright and Jamie Smith, simply because of the lack of appearances from our new striker and one of our better players in Smith. What or who has been your biggest disappointment this season so far?

Do you really think other clubs will only realise how good our players are by picking up a paper? If they're good enough for these other sides they'll know about them already I'd think. And if they come in with a bid, and it's accepted, it would have been accepted whether JC had said this or not.
