  1. Really? 8 goals from open play in a season isn't supremely shit "striking"? Mackie has done 15, a few may have been pens, but by fuck Scottish Football and Dons fans have some fucking jackanory story going about Billy Dodds. Tell you what an insult is. People who say that jumped up prick is a Dons legend, who compare him with Shearer, Black, McGhee, McDougall, Nicholas, Gillhaus, Jess and Booth. Real Aberdeen forwards worthy of the name. I'd call him a Charlatan, if i wasn't such a big fan of the band.
  2. If that's his record why not be happy with Miller and Mackie? they at least can control a ball and run, respectively. Two things Dodds could never master. Shearer liked playing beside Jess and/or Booth because they were footballers. Simple really.
  3. That's actually a huge 11/1 with Boylesports, got on that tonight.
  4. It wasn't. Take away the pens and you'll realise he scored one goal from open play every 5 weeks... GRATE!!
  5. He scored penalties! 8 from open play in a season generally... pish. Lee Miller, Steve Lovell and probably Darren Mackie can better that. Yeah, and if you've had worse names on your back then you no doubt need psychological help. who was worse? Inglis? Tzvetanov? Can't be that many worse than that little shit. Could never hit a ball truly. Horrid "footballer".
  6. I'm anything but predictable buddy! Saw it earlier on and thought "no, i'll not this time..." Few beers later and i was ready to explode!! Hate the cunt. Shite player, shite person. Thanks for listening
  7. same place he got his "strikers badge". Fucking imposter of a player, a hun cunt who I'll never, ever forgive for being part of a shite Aberdeen side that should never have been a shite Aberdeen side and let's face it, he was a fucking major reason for that. Cunt of the highest order and couldn't lace Duncan Shearer's boots.
  8. Anyone putting anything on the games this weekend? Best price for the Dons (that I've seen) was 8/11, but not sure to back them as our record in the opening game of the season is dire under Calderwood. 5/1 for the Bairns v the Scum looks very generous and worth a couple of nuggets as well as no goalscorer in that game, which will be around 8/1 I'd imagine.
  9. yeah, well done AFC, and thank fuck that's the end of it, was boring me to tears.
  10. Notice a lot of folk just saying "a cup final". Surely it is all about winning the cup, not just being there on the big day? We're not Dundee United, for fucks sake!
  11. Quoted in the Herald on Sunday. 7/2, second favourite only behind the new Hearts guy who is Evens.
  12. Is Foster injured?
  13. Another one for you all: Calderwood is second favourite to be sacked first this season, do you think those odds reflect reality?
  14. As the title says, what will make a successful season? There was a report on the Dons prospects on Sky Sports website and it basically says JC has to win a trophy this season. Do you agree? Would qualifying for Europe suffice? Is there a chance of splitting the Old Firm?
  15. That's a massive indictment on the managers then.
  16. The fact the Jutes or ICT wanted him doesn't have any implication on the fact that, more often than not, he's fucking garbage for us. That's all I care about, not whether the Jutes or ICT think he's good enough for them or not. Just because he's not been as shit as the list you have posted (and to be honest, had some of them played for as long as he has, they may well have also scored 52 goals in that period, too) doesn't mean we should all be content with him.
  17. Think i'd have just asked you that straight off.

  19. Excruciating, isn't it? In fact, it's fucking embarrassing. 30 goals between four strikers is dismal, you should be looking to get 30 goals a season from your midfielders!
  20. The Hun team wasnt even the best rangers team ever. Dundee Utd didnt win any European trophies neither did the Dundee team. The hibs team won the league cup and heehaw else!! A couple of little points Mr Provan may also want to look at: The Hibs team of 1973 werent even the second best in Scotland they finished 3rd. The Hun team of 1972 werent the second best team in Scotland, they finished third (ironically behind Aberdeen) The United team making the UEFA cup final in '87 werent the second best in Scotland they finished 3rd.
  21. It's a very Scottish trait to talk up failure. This country doesn't like winners.
  22. So if we played in the Scottish Cup for ten seasons, won it 3 times, but in the other seven seasons we lost in the first round. United got to the semis in each of those ten years, they're the more succesful side in the Scottish Cup? I think we all know that'd be bollocks.
  23. Read that this morning, always nice to read what he has to say about his time with us and infinitely better than the shite that I've heard Davie Provan spout in his rag this morning. Supposedly saying that Fergie was wrong to proclaim our 83 side as the second best this country has ever produced. Apparently out of that squad, only three (Strachan, Weir and McGhee when he was in the mood) were worth watching. What's his fucking problem with us? He had an attack on Jim Leighton a few years ago and now this drivel. Surely Leighton, McLeish and Miller were worth watching, earning 200 caps between them, and the first picks of two of the best managers ever. Bitter? I think he may be. Oh, and he also supposedly says that United have a better European record than us.
  24. Played 10 games or so, one of which was against us. think it may have been the 3-3 draw.
