He's had huge problems scoring in all sizes of games throughout his career. I hope you're right, I really do, I just worry...

What about the small games though? We need goals in them too. You could say that about anyone.

Good luck with that... Seriously, Mackie is absolute garbage, as we all know, but he's due a good season (by his standards) as his contract is up next summer. I was actually saying to someone during the huns match, after another misplaced pass from Barren, that I just kind of accept that Mackie is always going to be there or there abouts at Aberdeen... kind of like the illegitimate son the rest of the family don't really like.

The midfield in general is very, very weak.

I've just won £500 partly thanks to the Dandy Dons... tremendous stuff. Didn't think we played that well tonight, but we showed that we can grind results out. The back four did well, and I think I'd keep Seve there for next season, but I thought Lee Miller played really well tonight. Nice to see a Dons player actually using his head, in more ways than one.

The first thing I thought when I saw the news that Aluko had been allowed to go with the England U-19s and Smith was back in training, was "I'll bet he's going to use Smith against the huns." And what d'ya know?

Apparently the DVD that was supposed to be out to celebrate this (produced by Aberdeen Journals, not the club) will be out in September... possibly October.

It was 2 days shy of my 4th birthday, so I'm not that much older than yourself - the only things I remember from it is Hewitt scoring, Miller collecting the cup and my next door neighbour coming in before it to give me and my brother sweets to eat while watching the game - but regardless, a football club is nothing without it's history and that's the most important day of ours. What would Hearts/Hibs/Utd fans give to be celebrating the 25th anniv. on Sunday of their team beating Real Madrid in European final? it'll also be exactly 17 years on Sunday since something else happened to us that changed the shape of our future massively. One date, two huge matches that have probably become the most talked about games within our support. Heaven and hell.

a bit on their SPL section at the top of the screen that said: I'm presuming/hoping/praying it's supposed to be Lee Miller, and that we're not actually signing that sorry excuse for a centre half. Anyone heard anything suggesting we could be going for him?
