  1. Completely agree with you there (outwith the OF's). Just don't think a DVD is really necessary. I mean, if the market is there, by all means go for it. I personally wouldn't buy it. One victory in 8 matches... Would rather they released Team of the Decade on DVD instead so I can sit of an evening watching it, drunk, bawling my eyes out...
  2. Indeed. Reaching brand new heights of mediocrity...
  3. Well, you usually get away trips when playing in Europe, it's the fairest way of doing it. If you want memories of your away trips, you should have taken a camera with you...
  4. 3 draws and a victory. Oh how the mighty have fallen...
  5. Why? We won one match. Do you think in 5 years time people will be saying "Let's watch the Dons getting pumped by Panathanaikos, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich... those were the days".
  6. Yeah, god forbid a less than average footballer has to work for a living once he's retired...
  7. He is a decent guy, and obviously has the Dons at heart and it's good to see someone fighting our corner in the press... even though he thinks we're going to get pumped on Sunday!
  8. The guy was brutal DD. He may have given his all for us, but it did not make him a good footballer, which is what matters in my book. People - and I do not know why - have rose tinted specs when it comes to "Dobbin". At the time, he was extremely far from being a fans favourite. I even remember a cartoon in the "Northern Light", and it was a cross between Irvine and a Horse. He was depicted drinking from a trough, and then trying to kick a ball. Underneath that the caption said: "It just goes to show, you can take a horse to water, but you can't make a centre half out of him." Harsh, but ultimately correct. For the most part of his career with the Dons, he was carried by an outstanding team, and in particular an outstanding defence. The minute McLeish left us and I realised that Irvine would be our principal centre half, I very near soiled my pants. As I'd almost do numerous times the following season as Big Brian mis-judged another high ball to leave Theo horribly exposed again...
  9. Pretty much. Willie Miller made that point in his book. It's going to be the case so you have to try that bit harder. Just life, unfortunately.
  10. That's a lie to be honest. Diamond or Irvine? Diamond every day of the week for me.
  11. Let's be honest... he was pretty brutal.
  12. More than you can ever imagine...
  13. SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Jesus wept. It's amazing what passes for journalism these days.
  15. Derek Young too.
  16. Was thinking that it was a good thing that Brown was suspended, but then they'll just bring in Robson and we know what his record is like against us...
  17. What annoys me more is his talking up of the huns in the papers.
  18. To be fair, I think he'd have done it if it was Celtic too. Seems quite pally with that odious little prick Strachan.
  19. Fucking brutal.
  20. The horrible part is that he has been after him for years and it all seems to be because Alex Smith once told him Duff was a good player. I also thought Pasquinelli was a decent enough player. Terrible time with injuries though, if I remember correctly.
  21. Not to mention the odds would be so shite it would hardly be worth your while.
  22. Shameless attempt at point scoring as well by saying the players agreed to speak to "Glasgow-based" newspapers. Pathetic.
  23. Yeah, his first touch sees to that...
