  1. It's now a pre-requisite, especially as he's been so let down by that weirdo, Lovell.
  2. I've seen Rowson a couple of times for Thistle this season and to be fair, I'd take him ahead of quite a few of our players. Not sure we could afford him though...
  3. Ryan Esson could make a shock returnto the Dons in the summer. The 27-year-old keeper has been training at Pittodrie since being released by Shrewsbury Town, who he joined from the Dons in 2006. Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood hasn't ruled out the possibility of taking Esson on permanently as a replacement for Derek Soutar. Calderwood said: "It looks as if Derek will leave in the summer because he wants a regular game, so we will eventually be looking for another keeper. "Ryan is only training with us and is great to have about the place . "You never knowas far as taking him back for good goes, it would all depend on Ryan's situation when we are looking for another keeper. "I've not even spoken to Jim Leighton about it yet, it will be nearer the summer before we get that sorted."
  4. That's fair enough Madbad. I know you are not one who wishes to see JC leave. But I have to say that I now think he's incapable of making our team work with the tools that he has at his disposal. (tools being the operative word, I think it's fair to say) Unfortunately, the situation with Milne is one we're stuck with for the foreseeable future so we need to find a manager who can work within the constraints that the debt places on that position. If he's willing to accept the praise for our good results - and JC is not slow in reminding people of them - then he has to take responsibility for those performances and results that, simply, are fucking hideous. He doesn't do that. Fans won't put up with that, and he'll lose the dressing room rapidly, if he hasn't lost it already.
  5. In which case, do you not think that the manager has something to do with that then?
  6. Just a couple of games? Those results have been in the post for sometime.
  7. Can't see either of them going for him... shame.
  8. I just don't want us to be disgraced. If we lose a goal in the first ten mins on Thurs I really, really fear for us. I can handle losing, what I can't handle is losing without any semblance of fight or passion from our players.
  9. aye, wasn't me that said it, but JC did, obviously not watching our game, again then. I don't think today hurt as much as it did on Tuesday and to be fair to the lads I thought they went out from the start and were knocking the ball about with confidence considering what happened to them midweek. Wee Deks had a chance with a header early on but we missed it and then Barry got injured early on and we started to suffer then and we were down to ten men and they got a goal. I think it was 1-0 when Darren had a chance but missed and then they got a second goal which to us was sloppy but to them was a great goal and then good teams are going to punish you at this stage. It looks like we took a hammering but I don't think it is quite that bad and I think there are some positives to take from the game.Seve played really well and I think Maybury did well also but today we just didn't get the goals and that is what wins games. I don't think it will be a hard job to lift the players for Thursday as it is such a massive game, they may be a little bit down tomorrow but that will soon lift when they realise what is happening on Thursday night. As far as injuries go it looks like major doubts for Barry, Foster, Young will all be major doubts but nothing is confirmed and we will just have to see how things work out throughout the week.
  10. 100% spot on.
  11. I'm just surprised you have plasterboard.
  12. Walker - good. but far, far too much asked from him. He's taken the set pieces... surely that embarrasses cunts like Severin... and er.... young, and whoever else should be fucking embarrassed... he's an 18 year old on loan, and simply, calderwood is asking too much from him. That's a helluva responsibility from one so young, never mind one that isn't really signed to us. The other two... Christ. what's the point? I bought a paper this morning that is heavier than the two combined. That sums it up. Incidentally, my paper had a better hairdo than Maguire.
  13. The first line of that filled me with rage.... until i realised..!!!
  14. And who secures the debt? Think about it man.
  15. Far be it for me to stick up for that prick caldercunt, but was Mackie not a "nearly man" years and years before calderflump got here?
  16. Fine. But have the conviction to say it yourself then, eh?
  17. Great first post. EFF EFF ESS.
  18. That really is just a shite post, isn't it? Get a fucking grip. If you want to have a go at someone, do it yourself for fucks sake.
  19. Cos that's likely to happen, eh?
  20. Read it this morning. How to ruin your peaceful sunday morning... Couple it with Willie Miller's comments yesterday (according to my mate, anyway): Tuesday was THE worst defending I've ever seen by ANY Aberdeen side and it was heart breaking.
  21. Hype over Lovell? It was Caldercunt who signed him. It was Lovell who's scored in big matches for us (yes, Lee Miller, that is 'big matches'), so why shouldn't we want the guy to have a reasonable chance this season?
  22. Not sure if anyone else can confirm this, but Jamie Smith was the summariser for RedTV on Tuesday and let slip that the players think JC has lost the plot with his team selections and tactics?
  23. It'd be 2 more goals than the rest of the useless fuckers would get in those games... and the subsequent 6 weeks.
  24. Well said fella.
