  1. One of the stories is that it was Lee Mair (although that doesn't tie in with the "young player" from that report) and that the two don't like each other and haven't done since their time at Dundee. If that's the case, there's always potential for that happening, in which case, just put them on the same side in training?
  2. That is precisely where I "work" just now. I'm really surprised they gave a PC to the Cleaners, too.
  3. Conversely, in what other profession would management get to show such an attitude (in public, too ie Calderwoods blaming of Lovell for the defeat at tannadice and then going on to say he's a "bit of a strange one") towards their staff?
  4. The story i'd heard was that Clark went running to JC saying Lovell swore at him! Four times! So, not sure if SC will get his arse kicked. Think Lovell got 100 Lines and a detention, though.
  5. BBC's standards have really slipped....
  6. Most of you have probably heard the rumours that Stevie Lovell was dropped from the squad on Tueday because of an altercation with Sandy Clark in training on Monday. There has been stuff mentioned on KKK-Chat (i know, i know) about it, but a colleague has just told me it's in today's Sun (That is the standard of my colleague). Anyone seen this?
  7. Are we playing the cash in midfield?
  8. Well those folk are wrong. You don't overachieve for a full season.
  9. You're right. But I don't think people are wanting changes just because we lost a semi final. This is surely part of the biggest problem though. The same mistakes are being made too often. Do you really think JC will change significantly enough that a complete turn around in performance and attitude will occur on Sunday? Of course I really, really hope that they do. Can I see it happening? Not at all. I am really worried about Sunday. And as for Thursday...
  10. I would very much doubt Leighton is showing him how to kick a football. You'd think, that with Langfield being a professional footballer, it is one of things that he could work on himself.
  11. Agree with this. Another thing that will no doubt wind me right up on Thursday is how quickly they all manage to move when trying to get Luca Toni's shirt at the end of the game. Will be the most interested some of them will have appeared all season.
  12. Sorry ST, but Conway and Gomis tore us a new arsehole the other night. The posters on this board (perhaps not others) would have given them a chance, not sure about Darren Dods, right enough! It may well be the case that had we signed them, there would have been a few moans here and there, but if they produced good performances I think enough of us on here would be willing to admit we were wrong. People have given Mair a chance but he's not up to it. Duff has never been a good player.
  13. So we all have to have heard of players that we're signing? This is the whole point I think, that it requires investigation, that Calderwood and his management team have to try to unearth these players. Other managers seem to be able to do it, I don't see why we can't.
  14. He may well be powder puff, but he's a "gallus" wee guy...
  15. I entirely agree that the management of our club is hideous and Stewart Milne is to be blame for that, but unfortunately, for the forseeable future we're stuck with it. The problem with JC and the transfer market is that he appears to only go for guys he knows... all the DAFC guys, Derek Young, Stuart Duff... as I've said before he's like a dog with a bone when it comes to signings. Once he has it in his head he wants to sign someone he never moves on from it even if he can't get them. He has made some really good signings, I am not for a second suggesting otherwise, it's just that his signing policy appears to be rather one dimensional and that's what really annoys me.
  16. What can i say?
  17. Un-fucking-believable.
  18. On the few occassions I've seen Gomis I've thought he was excellent.
  19. I have no idea, you're asking the wrong person.
  20. If he touched the ball more than twice last night i'd be surprised.
  21. Perhaps, just perhaps, we could ATTEMPT to play to Lovell's strengths instead of whacking the ball up to him at throat height. Just a suggestion.
  22. Yeah, what is it with this punching the ball away with both fists. If you can get both fists on the ball you can fucking catch it.
  23. And Lee Miller hasn't? I don't understand why it is ok for Lee Miller not to score, nor threaten to score, but if Lovell has a game where he doesn't score he's dropped straight away?
