  1. Not seen a more gutless performance from an Aberdeen side in a long, long time. Truly painful.
  2. Pretty much a done deal that he's going to killie in january. he also thinks JC is an "orange bastard" and that he's a shite manager. This has come from the player himself.
  3. You tried footy doctor?
  4. 1. Jagerdeen 2. Busy Bilbo Baggins 3. Glasgow Sheep - glasvegas 4. B. Biscuit Esq.
  5. Can see this happening too. Which is a shame as I was looking forward to seeing Aluko up against Bombscare Caldwell. Unfortunately not! I'm going to Parkned, but not Madrid. Including the 5 litre bottles of San Mig ?
  6. I spoke to Duncan Shearer not long after he was appointed assistant manager and the Dons had just come back from Portugal in the winter break. Spoke to him about the strikers at the club (Mackie being one of them of course), and his exact words were: "If you think they're bad on Saturday's, you should see them in training. I was top scorer for the training matches in Portugal. That's not me boasting, it's a slight on them. Their problem is that they don't want to listen, they think they know it all, that they're Billy big time and their careers will go nowhere." (Leigh) Hindsight proves he's right... I'll get ma coat.

  8. There was an article in the Sunday Herald by a Greek journalist about it, they've been out for a couple of weeks and not expected back til mid-November.
  9. I'm clock watching in the office now and it isn't moving very quickly! Got a feeling we could all be clock watching come 20 past 6 or so! Nervous excitement has kicked in. COME ON YE REDZZZZZ!!
  10. Did the huns end up NOT qualifying with 6 points one year? Atletico will top the group, spent more money than everyone in La Liga over the summer bar Real Madrid.
  11. Your mate's a tool.
  12. Brought a tear to my eye that did. STAND FREE
  13. We've never had a good cup run under Calderwood. If he doesn't get one this season, he's failed, basically.
  14. Was that when you woke up?
  15. Maybe. Maybe not. That's a chance that obviously several dandies are prepared to take. You can not, however, have a "better the devil you know" attitude indefinately. Undoubtedly, Calderwood has done a good job and has steadied a very rocky ship. But, there will come a point that he can do no more with us, unfortunately, that's one of these things that can only be answered for definate in hindsight. As a football club we always have to look to progress, and at the moment we are going backwards. It's early in the season and I reckon we'll come good, but if we don't, we certainly can't have the attitude that we can't part company with the boss because IT MAY BE THE WRONG DECISION. I don't think it would be that good if Calderwood left, but i certainly wouldn't be losing any sleep over it. The man is a buffoon whose man management appears to border on the insane and at times I think we've achieved what we have IN SPITE of Calderwood. Again, though, that's something that can never be proven. If he didn't come out with claptrap like this then i'd have more time for him. The fact he doesn't know their best positions is not an indictment on how well those players have played all over the park, it's an indication that their confidence and consistency is affected by the continuous changes. A very interesting point someone on here made recently: We're now in his fourth season. Not one partnership on the park has been established in that time, and frankly that's appalling. You look at the best Dons sides down the years: Miller/McLeish, Simmie/Cooper, Simmie/Bett, Bett/Grant, McGhee/Black, Black/McDougall, Charlie Nic/Gillhaus, Gillhaus/Jess, Shearer/Booth etc etc. That's because of the manager, and it means there is no solid base for the team to progress. If he settles on a formation and sticks to it regardless of opponents, we'll do well. Otherwise, we'll continue to struggle.
  16. But he's had his last chance! You're saying that bad behaviour can not be tolerated but that is exactly what is happening. What's the point in dishing out last warnings if they mean nothing? He is at best an average keeper. Calderwood has come out of this thing terribly. Remember, the only reason we were under the illusion that Langfield was finished at the club is because Calderwood said so. The only reason we knew he had used up his last warning is because Calderwood said so. And yet, he's allowed to walk back into the team and Calderwood says not a peep about the events in the summer. Is that any way to manage our club? I wouldn't have thought so.
  17. All about opinions, fair enough, but look at the reaction of the crowd towards him last night. Exasperation just about covers it. He struggled badly against a lower league side. The ball Hart put in for him was fantastic, he couldnt even be arsed to move for it. Apparently even the commentators on the radio said that the most productive thing he did all night was win a tackle. Not what you're looking for from your striker is it? although, to top it all off, he was beaten in the air by professional midget footballer Stevie Murray. The guy is chronic, as his goalscoring record shows. He has all the threat of a nun on a unicycle.
  18. My thoughts are that you are tripping out your eyeball. He was nothing short of fucking atrocious. My mate even said to me that he's one of the poorest players he's ever seen in a Dons top, and it's hard not to argue that. Miller is powderpuff. He's a cheat as well and should have been booked for a dive. Doesn't deserve to playing for us, he's just not interested.
  19. So how is loaning him to another team going to get us a return on our investment? There is never any guarantee that anyone will ever pay anything for this clown, unless JC signs him again when he's manager of Melchester Rovers or Timbucktoo United. You're right, AFC is a business. Time to cut our losses.
  20. He takes a wage from the fuckers!
  21. the guy is worth two bob and a irn bru chew. If that's what you want the dons to get next summer, by all means, get him signed. EFF EFF ESS!
  22. Scandalous, if true. After he broke the code of conduct when on his final warning, what does that say for the discipline within the club? I never thought it was possible, but Calderwood is making himself look an even bigger clown by going with this than he has done previously. Shambles of a situation, and frankly, embarrassing.
  23. So why did Mackie manage it last season, scoring three times the amount Miller did? And Lovell managed it scoring more than double the amount of Miller. There's no answer to that MT. Lee Millers scoring record is fucking appalling. Fact.
  24. BRING IT ON!!
  25. He played alright last night, but just alright. There is ability there, you can see that, but he's one lazy lump of a lad. If he was to put in last nights performance every week, I'd be more of a fan. Unfortunately for everyone concerned though, the crux of the matter is that he's just not threatening enough, his goals/games ratio is frankly appalling.
