Taylor given MotM by ICT.
-
Either way Taylor will play on Friday as he's untouchable. Oh look. Plan B has been invoked. Taylor up front. That'll be that then.
-
We're feeling sorry for ourselves, we're not trying to force the issue. We're just accepting that it's not going for us. Fucking pish.
-
I think McGinn is great but he's been woeful tonight. As have most of the rest of them, right enough.
-
Even by Taylor's standards that is fucking remarkable. Set up three goals for this lot. The boy is absolute hoop.
-
Another fucking wasted set piece. Get a fucking grip boys eh?
-
Get Smith on. We need someone who can hold the ball. Set pieces have been utter ding as well.
-
If Taylor was brave, he'd have gone to head that and undoubtedly won the free kick. Instead he's pussied it - as soon as a defender raises his leg that high he's asking the ref to make a decision. He was high (higher than Draper) and late. It probably wasn't a penalty, but he's given that clown the opportunity to give the penalty. Brainless.

Aye Jute, making too much of a big deal about the yellow - moaning to Collum after the ht whistle has gone will not go down well with him and the next foul or dissent could see the red come out. Think we know that DM doesn't fancy the two left footers at CB though. I'd take Church off for Smith. Get McGinn in beside Rooney to give us a bit of legs up there and Smith in behind.
-
Gone very flat. They've had a massive boost by getting a goal out of nothing basically. Unfortunately that is just Taylor - thinks he's a footballer but is someway short on that front. Church has offered very little. McLean has gone a bit quiet too. Storie has been very good and Rooney took his goal well and his put a shift in as per usual.
-
Think it's a nod to Johan Cruyff.
-
Stewart McKimmie was an infinitely superior player to Logan. As much as I like Logan, he couldn't get near to McKimmie's levels.
-
why? Klopp will be looking over his shoulder...

Listened to the podcast with Davie Provan, Hunter said Provan is the one player he would have taken at Aberdeen from Celtic. I'm sorry but that is pretty much beyond parody now. Provan was a decent player no doubt, but if we took him who out of Peter Weir or Gordon Strachan would he have replaced? Utter tripe from Hunter again. In saying that, I am actually looking forward to hearing the one with Peter Beardsley, one player who may actually be worthy of the sycophantic praise.

That was an absolute shocker, and yet they've just given him a new contract. Bizarre. Can't be long before Ward is given his chance. We really missed him yesterday.
-
Totally. We have now conceded 8 goals in two games to Saints, and correct me if I'm wrong but I think 6 of them have come from corners. Brown did nothing to win me over yesterday and the centre backs had a day to forget, Reynolds in particular but Taylor at their first was ridiculously bad. He (Reynolds) may well have been carrying a knock but it can't have been too serious if he was originally due to be on the bench and then started due to the Considine injury. Pawlett and Smith got a big chance yesterday and neither took it. PP looked raging when he was coming off but he wasn't really entitled to be. McGinn and Storie made a big, positive difference to us. Our top performers were Rooney, Hayes and McLean. KM got through a power of work in midfield, his passing was tidy and he was always showing for the ball, really important player for us now.
-
Agree with you there Rico. Wasn't very impressed by Church but it's his debut and he'll need time to settle in. However, anything that moves Rooney wide just isn't a good thing for us. The Red Final has an article about Rooney and his scoring prowess. He is the fourth quickest to hit 50 goals for the Dons, only Duncan Shearer, Drew Jarvie and Joe Harper are ahead of him (in that order), that alone tells you how lethal he is. Play him in his strongest position and more often than not he will score and more often than not, we'll take the points too.

Looks like it was DM's. Had recorded the game as I wanted to see what Hans Gillhaus had to say and watched a bit of it last night - when the boys were doing that he was just staring at them, almost imploring them not to break. There is a photo of it doing the rounds taken from the RDS, it looks like the guys are linked by arms around shoulders, then at the end Reynolds and Shinnie are holding hands, quite cute...
-
It will be the cautious approach - it's McInnes's default setting. Would love to see a fast start though a la Dundee & Ross Co away.
-
Don't want that to happen (the sacking, obviously want us to win tonight) - he's clueless, they might end up getting someone who actually knows what they're doing.
-
Caley have played a blinder here... they're now left with a player who is deeply unhappy, has lost his trust in his employers and actively wants to be elsewhere. And they've missed out on a nice wedge of cash. Well played Caley, well played. I'd imagine watching our game tomorrow night in front of a (near) full house may tip Tansey over the edge... what could have been. Instead, the home games he has to look forward to for the rest of the season will attract a fraction of tomorrow night's attendance and a fraction of the importance.
-
Think that'd be showing Celtic a bit too much respect. I think Shinnie has to be at left back, we can't have Considine there. I also believe that Deila will go with Brown in midfield and I would love to see us put someone with pace up against him, get them running off him and get Brown running towards his own goal. One of McGinn, Hayes or Pawlett could do that job with McLean and Storie behind.

Just hand luggage?
-
Aye, Goodwillie out on loan to Ross County confirmed.
-
One out at Pittodrie apparently (allegedly etc)...Goodwillie I'd reckon.
