  1. He's a walking disaster area.
  2. JL told JC not to sign him. JC signed him anyway. £400 pw didn't eat into the budget. JL was raging and almost left the club as a result.
  3. Your attitude re Anderson is embarrassing. The fact you don't go along with the "spunk-fest" is fine, but you do the guy down so often and that to me isn't fine. He's the best CH we can get and the guy loves the club. Injury record or not, he is by far the best CH in the country. He's strolled through each league game this season. He's not Miller, but not many are, he doesn't deserve derision for that.
  4. Fuck off with that shite. Vernon played really well today and his two headed goals that were chopped off were superb finishes and he doesn't deserve such derision. Could have been offside, but in all fairness, his performance perked up after the first and I think that signals that the guy just needs a goal to get his season going. Aberdeen played very well today, and MBT, as soon as Anderson went off we sat deeper and deeper and that prob cost the goal. Anderson is a fucking great player for us. Fraser had a good game and I have to say the balance of Hughes, rae and Jack in midfield is good. It seems an unpopular opinion but i really like Hughes. Constantly looks to get beyond the midfield (his back heel to Hayes...superb) but also isn't afraid to go back if needed.
  5. Just the one Dons game?
  6. Gutted for Russell Anderson and Gavin Rae in particular. Marshalled that side brilliantly and didn't deserve to lose. Langfield has never been good enough. it's not news or a quirk in life. He has consistently cost us points over years. and yet we still employ him. it's embarrassing as it is shocking. We can have as good a team outfield as we wish...as long as we have a shite goalkeeper we'll be shite. If that keeper is langfield.... we are shite.
  7. Morning folks, If you are not going along to the game on Saturday and you're based in Glasgow, please get along to the Rock to watch the game live with fellow Dons fans. The Rock are kindly sponsoring Red Stars again this season so the more we get through the doors the better for us, and of course the more we get through the doors the better atmosphere there is. The last two games v Celtic in there has seen more Dandies than Tims so it would be good to keep that record going. Hope some of you can make it along. Cheers
  8. Molinari, Oosthuizen, Goose and Noren. Bjorn to be first round leader and Jacquelin, lawrie and rock to win their respective three balls tomorrow.
  9. Linfield = huns. If they were going to lose their title to anyone, I'm sure they're glad it's them.
  10. It's not a rumour. Celtic paid him by EBT but later realised they hadn't used it properly and notified HMRC and it was dealt with then.
  11. I heard some time ago that we had an issue with them over a hotel bill or something as trivial as that.
  12. didn't realise that, only going on DST's tweet
  13. They'll be there as technically speaking, Oldco still hold the SPL share. I hope that's all it is anyway...
  14. Just got our opening fixtures for 2012/13 season. Delighted to say the Dons first game is at home to Sandbank Sevco on 19 August. If anyone fancies coming along to support us, I'll post up details of venue etc beforehand.
  15. Can't disagree at all there rocket. I've still to make my picks (got some reading to do the next couple of days), but I reckon Oostie, again, is going to be there. I don't get the odds for Donald and Westwood, neither have ever displayed the mental toughness to capture a major. It can only be due to patriotic betting.
  16. no mention of "JB" being coked out his nut all through this shambles?
  17. English, for the most part, has drastically mis-judged this entire situation. He claimed almost right up to the SPL vote that the huns would get a positive vote... they didn't. And his arrogance on the subject up until that point meant he rightly got stick for it.. he did not take that like a man. embarrassing just about covers it.
  18. first time I've seen this since 87/88... all I can say is...
  19. Not that I remember this game, but regardless of that... 1. McMaster's goal is an incredible strike. 2. George Smith could not have been popular at the lodge after that second penalty call... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfTZSNP_-9A&feature=relmfu
  20. This encapsulates the huns and the reasons they're hated by us. Cheats. No class.
  21. really looking forward to next season when asking the huns who they've got that coming Saturday... very juvenile but going to fucking enjoyable.
  22. http://blogs.channel4.com/alex-thomsons-view/?=g
  23. The bit in bold. The club have not sold anything like that figure of STs.
