  1. The last 2 games have only started after half time for us, and that surely tells us that Broon isnt happy in the negative style in the 1st halves? He's got to trust his players. There is a base there to have a good team, let them off the leash a bit and the 1pts should turn into 3pts more often than not. ps Fallon is ding. It doesn't work. Please stop trying to force it to.
  2. Billy Dodds: The man is an absolute cunt.
  3. Man Utd @ 6/4 has to be worth a punt
  4. Good on him for finding alternative employment already.
  5. you can almost see and feel the tears of the "journalist" in this piece: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/2012/03/01/rangers-in-crisis-11-ibrox-players-set-to-be-axed-as-administrators-begin-savage-cuts-86908-23770531/
  6. The claims are being backed up by the rumour/news/belief that the huns only have enough cash to get them to the end of March, if they're lucky.
  7. An awful lot of people saying the huns could be liquidated in the next 24 hours. Wishful thinking I reckon.
  8. SwallowSwallow is under the impression that seven players will be binned today. Sasa Papac, David Healy, Sone Aluko, Salim Kerkar Neil Alexander, Lee McCulloch and Kirk Broadfoot
  9. Not as simple as that mizer. It's about overall play; if most of our shots at goal are coming from distance, then we're likely to be less efficient. If most of Motherwell's are coming due to attacking wing-play and accurate crosses then you'd expect their accuracy to be far more impressive. Of course we should be creating more chances regardless, but I don't think we need graphs and tables to tell us that.
  10. Follow Follow have him as one along with that cunt McCulloch. Neil Alexander is another, I'd take him at Pittodrie.
  11. Think he always looks suspicious; not a great keeper at all.
  12. Sums that club up. Classless to the last. Also good to see the administrators acting in the interests of the creditors...
  13. rude!!
  14. Fallon is useless. Fyvie is so laboured in everything he does. It speaks volumes that he's not in the Scotland Under 21 squad. It is my eternal hope that this is the final stage of development before the excitement is introduced. The defence is looking solid enough in general, and credit to the management for that. Now it's surely about getting things to click up front. The fact he's used Arnie, Vernon, Chalali, Uchechi, PP, Megginson, Mackie and Jack in the front 3 positions in the last 2 games is hugely concerning. He's not letting things settle and also indicates he's not sure of his best options. Dithering, basically. That has to stop. Get the squad balanced and know your best partnerships through the spine of the side. Do that and I think AFC can have a good, solid future on the park as it stands.
  15. Duke Spirit on the 3rd at Tuts I believe. Then have Cast at the end of next month and The Charlatans' Tellin' Stories gig in June
  16. oh dear fuck
  17. I'm not disagreeing with your sentiment but lots of folk got in for nothing due to the previous match being abandoned and others paid discounted prices, so not really comparable. Still good that folk turned out of course.
  18. Yeah, but if you look at the Dons side there it had a good few experienced, and indeed superb players in Leighton, McLeish, Simmie and McMaster and then the youngsters in Grant, J Miller, Porteous, Wright, Robertson and Mitchell. All the youngsters had played for the first team by that point, but I think the balance between the big names and the youngsters is vital for the long term success of a tournament like that, and I just don't see teams risking it these days.
  19. Tennents pulled out in the early 90s and it stopped then. The huns had stopped turning up to it regularly, probably because they were sponsored by McEwans or perhaps because they didn't want to risk their players getting injured. The last one I remember us being in only had 2 or 3 regular first team players in it and I think that's how most teams were playing it by that point.
  20. As much as I love Blur, they were horrendous the other night at the Brits. I think Albarn has to admit that his voice isn't up to doing things like Song 2 and Girls and Boys these days.
  21. The Tennents Sixes: 1st Game: Semi Final: Final (2 pts);
  22. He's started selling Team Cards round the pubs already....
