  1. All of that is hypothetical. Not worth getting bothered about man. I don't like LFC, but I find this far from thrilling. It's been a desperate situation and it has brought out the worst in football fans (both sides and beyond) when it really wasn't about all that nonsense in the first place. But yes, i'd be the same in that I'd want it to be down to actual football and not all this other stuff. They should take a look at his transfer record in particular. Henderson, Downing and Carroll... woeful.
  2. He was booed because Liverpool fans see him as the guy who got Suarez banned. Obviously that wasn't Suarez's fault. Oh no. And if he wasn't booed for that, why did he not usually, regularly get booed at Anfield before all this? Don't think either situation was going to incite a riot, to be honest. Both players just made massive cunts of themselves. I was talking about Dalglish at the start of this whole thing, not necessarily what he said on Saturday. But he acted a cunt then, too. What a surprise. I don't think Saturday was an honest mistake from him, he went on the defensive straight away without (if he's to be believed) not having all the facts in front of him. Idiotic, to say the least. Suarez may well have let Dalglish down on Saturday but Dalglish let himself down all through this and his reputation has suffered as a result.
  3. So he got booed for doing something that he hadn't yet done? That really is amazing foresight. Pretty much everyone - Ferguson included but you didn't mention that - agreed Evra was out of order. If only Dalglish and Liverpool weren't stupidly blind at the time and had admitted that one of their players had acted like a massive cunt all this nonsense could have been avoided. Dalglish dug himself a hole and kept on digging. He's made an absolute mess of it and I wouldn't be surprised if he walks at the end of the season. But they couldn't set aside the tribal aspect of it, they couldn't see it wasn't about Liverpool v Man Utd and actually about right v wrong. Everyone knows Evra is an unlikeable prick, but that's nothing to do with this at all, is it? But it keeps getting peddled. What an absolute shambles.
  4. http://www.gossipcop.com/national-enquirer-sentences-whitney-houston-to-death/ Needless to say, the National Enquirer had the last laugh.
  5. Saving them for Tuesday.
  6. From yesterday's Fiver:
  7. I currently have a picture of Willie Miller and Fergie right after our Super Cup win, but it's been on the wall for a while now and wanted a change hence this thread. Think I may get a few smaller pics of favourite past players and thought of using SNS Pics as they have a fairly decent library to choose from. Anyone know of anywhere else that does similar?
  8. rumours that this may be played next Thursday.
  9. If you're just in it for the 90 mins, then why does it matter where we got pumped? Personally, I'm more concerned about my team winning than getting a jolly abroad that was never going to amount to anything other than that. But maybe that's not the "cool" answer.
  10. Do any of you have framed Dons related pictures up in your houses or offices? If so, what do you have and where did you get them?
  11. Hamburg is ace, absolutely crazy place. People are fantastic, had a very bizarre night in the Golden Poodle club (not as shady as it sounds!) but it's ranked as one of the best clubs in Hamburg even though it's essentially just a shack that has grass growing out of the roof.
  12. I really wasn't overly impressed by Munich. Compared to Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin it's pretty tame but Germans seem to be a friendly bunch in my experience. Agree on the food, Dave. Absolutely gash.
  13. Aye, he's a classless cock. He should concentrate on getting his team actually winning at home rather than trying to fight a fight he shouldn't even be contemplating.
  14. He's from Dumbarton, he knew a lot of their players and was running back and saying "they're saying this about you..." and basically just shit stirring, so relations between the two clubs were a bit strained. Farcical, really.
  15. Correct.
  16. Quiz time folks: Name the player who has scored an equal amount of goals for Spurs and Liverpool. And: which player scored the most goals past Chris woods in his time at the huns,?
  17. A mystery lottery winner has come forward with an offer to buy the filthy bastards. He got three numbers....
  18. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16778861 check the voxpops out.
  19. Indeed. He's never played for us.
  20. Currently 5th in the league mate, lost 3-2 last Sunday to St Mirren, should have got all 3 points as the lads had their best performance of the season. I really felt for them as they deserved so much from the game. The reason there hasn't been updates is that a lot of games have been called off and that one gimp from Mad (Mason 89) caused a fair bit of aggro after the report of the Dumbarton game so the decision was made to can it, unfortunately. But I really was so proud of the lads last Sunday. They played the game in the manner it should be played and really deserved to take the 3 points.
  21. rio is finished. Evans has been playing v well recently but having rio next to him and evra on the other side tends to panic him. He is a fine player but he's being sold by the supposed class and experience around him. Time for Evra to drop out. Had Vidic played today it'd have been a comfortable United victory. Postiga's goal for Zaragoza is superb, quality volley
  22. Only managed to catch a wee bit today but saw a fair bit yesterday and he's striking the ball superbly, great to see. Didn't catch the outcome of the discussion on the green where he'd dropped his ball on the marker (or vice versa), what happened with that?
  23. Don't agree he's mediocre. He's not the player many make him out to be, for sure, but if the club can keep him it'd be a superb piece of business I reckon. He's the sort of guy the team's missed since Heikkinen left us. i.e. someone who actually knows how to play the game.
