  1. Thought United played well 1st half, but Evra really has to go. Quality interview with Lord wrigley at the end.
  2. According to that plank Scott Davie, the fee received for Grimmer was considerably more than that received for Foster
  3. Correct. I wish the guy no ill at all, it's just way past the time to move on. He's become the personification of Aberdeen FC over the years and that isn't a good thing. It's easy to be a good servant to a club when you know you're pretty ding but still picking up a good wage. The fact the club as a whole has accepted this level of player (and some levels below too) is one of the reasons we've been so depressingly awful for years. As I said, I wish him no ill, i just don't really care what he does as long as it's not at Aberdeen FC.
  4. Some Bookies have now suspended betting on the cheating hun bastard being the next manager to vacate his position. Received a raft of bets last night and the price went from 8/1 in some places down to 7/4.
  5. Need to wonder if loan players are really going to give a fuck about their predicament. Hibs are a woeful side and I think Fenlon was a really weak appointment, but I reckon it'd be pretty bad for the SPL if they were to go out of it.
  6. I used to have a lot of respect for Dalglish, that's diminished greatly over the way he acted on this. He saw it as a Liverpool v Man Utd issue when it wasn't, and no one should view it as such.
  7. It was mentioned at the time because Dalglish's first reaction to the news that Evra had complained was "He's got previous for this, hasn't he?" or words to that effect. So, no Kenny... he doesn't.
  8. Don't agree. Defoe isn't a better player than Saha. If you keep Saha fit (a big if, for sure) he can get you any type of goal; headers, long range, poacher-type goals... superb in the air, quick and is a brilliant link up player. Defoe is a good player and one I've always liked but he doesn't have the all-round game Saha does. Maybe Saha's injuries have caught up with him as he has been off the boil at Everton so far this season, but he definitely benefits playing in a team who like to get the ball wide, as Spurs do.
  9. Sky reported earlier that the cheating hun bastard has been told he will see not one penny of the Jelavic fee. Showed him coming out of the Bronx and his face was like thunder
  10. Can't imagine Benitez's turgid style of football would go down well with the locals.
  11. No one's surprised, which is the point.
  12. Liverpool fans eh? Booing the victim of racist abuse, for being the victim of racist abuse, is a fucking low even for that lot. Desperate.
  13. Disapponted Fernandes and the FA tried to do this. It's an entirely personal choice if Ferdinand does this, not his clubs or the association; I'd imagine very few people would wish to shake the hand of someone who has abused them in such a way especially in a face saving exercise (from the club's standpoint at least) . Second case this season of clubs not understanding the seriousness of these issues and believeing pr comes first. Desperate. Terry is a detestable cunt and should be treated as such at all times.
  14. Signing him years after we should have. he certainly knows how to play the game, not sure how much he's got left in the legs though. Fingers crossed on this one I think.

  16. Kenny Miller runs up and.... "Oh!! Horrible! Horrible" cries Jonathan Pearce. Miller then missed his penalty.
  17. The majority of huns I know are SNP voters and very strong supporters of the party, it's far from uncommon. They're a mixed up bunch all right.
  18. True. Also see yours hasn't improved any in that time.
  19. Looking forward to seeing the Man City players tomorrow night with t-shirts of support...
  20. We went into speak to him afterwards and he was pleased everything went without any trouble. He didn’t get any hassle from the police and we spoke to a couple of them afterwards as well and they were delighted at how everyone behaved. As far as we know he’ll be happy for this to happen again and I’d imagine there’ll be no problem with buses visiting before the St Mirren game coming up. However, I’m not sure if The Rock being named in the rags is going to change his attitude for future games at Ibrox. I would certainly hope not of course, but we can only go on his wishes.
  21. The Daily Record phoned me and two others last night. They were told there was no trouble at the Rock or anywhere near it. They even visited The Rock yesterday and spoke to the landlord who told them the same, so I suppose they felt the need to make a story out of their extensive research. Although, reporting that some people met in one place to travel to another place isn't really a story, is it?
  22. No trouble in or at the Rock at all. All well-behaved bar the guy who had an argument with the fruit machine and chucked his pint glass at it. Big thanks incidentally to all who came along to The Rock, it'll help the football team for this season and next hopefully. We're also looking at trying to get buses in before matches at Paisley as well. Thanks again from Red Stars.
