  1. As in Robbie Neilson? I don't think so and i also hope you're not suggesting we sign him...

  3. But obviously some of them are.
  4. A lot of fouls are accidental. In fact, probably most of them are.
  5. Oh that old excuse. I forgot people can't have an opinion if more than two football managers agree on something. Amazing you're now taking McGhee's word for something... And while we're looking at it this way: Skovdahl: Mackie looked a promising player coming through; speed, decent enough finisher and pretty strong in the air. Paterson: Didn't want him. Calderwood: clearly liked him and Mackie had one really good season in particular. His work rate at the time fitted in with that team. McGhee: Don't know if he rated him or not. Mackie was under contract and we'd have had a hard time getting rid. He also suffered a bad injury in this time. Brown: As above. may give him a new contract come January or June but I'd be amazed if he does.
  6. Aye, Hewitt, Cooper, Booth, Jess and Simpson all got a shitstorm of abuse. Don't confuse "great servant" with "guy who has been lucky to get contract after contract".
  7. A mate of mine (Ayr United fan) summed it all up nicely for me: "Scottish football will continue to be shit as long as clubs like Aberdeen continue to have players like Darren Mackie."
  8. Maybe ripping it all up and starting again is what's required, because it certainly isn't going to get any better any time soon in the current set up.
  9. BBC man John Barnes just "tweeted": EDIT: further proof: http://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/rolls/supreme/lists/r111102_048.htm Bye then! Them and their big brothers in the one season...?
  10. Knew it was one of them!
  11. He was one of them (along with Keys, Gray, Redknapp) promoting the whole “Chelsea went out of the CL Semi Final because the ref was from a football backwater such as Norway…”, completely ignoring the fact that they spend most of their time slating refs for getting decisions wrong in the EPL… that’ll be English refs, incidentally.
  12. Was Welsh not the guy who was supposed to be improving the relationship with the fans? And he's now moved on to something else... he must have done an amazing job...
  13. Merson is an absolute clown. His "I'm a bit of a moron who can't pronounce player's names properly" act got tiresome ages ago.
  14. Being on a stretcher holding your face as your knee is strapped down is a bit of a giveaway that you may be in some pain. It did happen more than eight yards from the spot where you were tackled. If you don't believe me, I'll send you the DVD... Even that article doesn't spell out that the bad injury Milsom went off with was as a direct result of Naismith's challenge. Unbelievable.
  15. Congratulations mate, cracking news
  16. My mate called it straight off Al, said it's a straight red without seeing any replay. They showed it at half time and magnified the contact.. fuck me. Milsom has a severe gash on his leg, and I'm amazed that's all it is. It should have been a straight red.
  17. You're not supposed to have colours on. Only passing on the message.
  18. Just a reminder folks that you can't have colours on in the pub for the game
  19. Brian Grant is their head of youth development these days Al.... once a Don and all that...
  20. It'll be behind closed doors though... meaning there won't be anyone chucking a half eaten hot dog at him and there'll be no United fans there to shout bad things at him. So his bottle should hold out this time...
  21. tackle from the back Fingers crossed for a full recovery.
  22. Nice one, cheers for that GS
  23. Yeah, it is. No problem with that, they may ask you to sit in the "family area" though but they may not enforce that so early in the day.
  24. had a flick through this at lunch in Waterstone's... Paul Mason isn't in his final XI. Neither is Willie Miller, which is a bit of a shock...
