  1. It was the AFC Golf Day, Jager, they were all there.
  2. what's he said? (can't access twatter at work)
  3. And if it doesn't? Give them the resources to put a team on the park worthy of the name and the shirt... if you can't do that, fuck off.
  4. For goodness sake, who does want to see our club die? Let's face it, it has been shite for 15 years and we've all shouted about it, booed the board, the manager and Darren Mackie, we've all tried to raise the spirits of the players, get behind the manager and "turned more corners" than someone lost in a maze. No matter what we've done, or said, or written... it is still shite. Really, really fucking monumentally shite. So, is the only thing left to do, the only thing that will get some form of positive reaction from the board, is stop going? In the long term, of course it isn't. But in the short term, quite possibly. But as TF says above, this is already in the process of happening, and none of it is organised and that's the dangerous thing for the board because when that happens, many will never, ever come back on a regular basis. Can you honestly blame them? Throwing good money after bad with absolutely no sign of things ever getting better... you'd need to be a fool, quite frankly.
  5. Clark, Mackie, Foster and Considine... how many of the Cup "disasters" have they played in, anyone know off the top of their head?
  6. The bank only cares that the club is meeting the interest payments, basically. Whether the team on the park is utter ding or not won't be their concern, even though in the long term it probably would benefit them as well as us. As for Milne paying it off etc, he probably isn't that cash rich, only on paper. A lot of his wealth will be tied up in investments and such like. Not that that's an excuse, this should have been sorted long ago, and of course should never have been allowed to spiral to this extent. He will change nothing though. This result... it's only one result, he'll say and on it will go. there may be a few half arsed attempts by Duncan Fraser to get some meaningless contact with the fans going, at which point he'll say "you don't know what it's like here, you don't know what you're talking about so please shut up but take your seats every second Saturday, if you don't mind". Because that's what happens every time we get one of these results. Why would anything change this time round?
  7. I don't play these days, knee's fucked. I merely coach them, so i show them how to miss so spectacularly.
  8. Years ago, there'd have been protests outside the mainer. Now, so many are apathetic that they wouldn't even consider that. I'll always give a fuck to an extent - I wouldn't be here for a start, and would suggest all those who say they don't give a fuck clearly do otherwise they wouldn't be here either - but the divide between myself and the club has never been so great than it is at present and I have a rather sad feeling that it isn't going to decrease any time soon.
  9. Free of charge as long as you don't mind fetching the odd wayward shot from behind the goals. (a fairly regular occurence)
  10. He's not the Director of Football though, is he? And we were shite for the 10 years before his re-signing.
  11. think there's any chance of him walking away from this?
  12. We'd probably give East Fife a better game than another team in red though...
  13. It's because nothing, absolutely nothing will change. There will be shite soundbites from Brown about how we actually won more corners and more throw ins in the attacking third than East Fife, but Milne will say fuck all and in a couple of weeks this will all be forgotten and he'll hope against all hope we get a couple of victories in the league and so it continues....
  14. The club/team bears no resemblance to the one i really loved. There is absolutely no heart in the club now, wherever you look. Gutless cunts masquerading as Aberdeen FC players, and spineless bastards in the boardroom.
  15. 1-1 McArdle
  16. Fucking hell

It is comparable with a lot of the higher profile courses...unfortunately. Not that I ever play those courses...
  18. No, that tends just to happen in Ayrshire... eh, Al?
  19. If he's not fit to play he shouldn't be on the bench. Simple as that.
  20. So why was he on the bench?
  21. The ball was out of play by the time Cole hit Hernandez, which shows you how late it was.
  22. Cheers Al, the lads have had a tough pre-season and we've had a few setbacks in that but they've done really well and I'm confident we're going to have a good season. Craig Brown will be disappointed to hear Accies had more corners than us, however...
  23. Nae luck
  24. Red Stars got their league season up and running with a good performance and more importantly, 3 points at Blairdardie this afternoon. The ref made a monumental cunt of things just one minute in when he gave a penalty to Accies for an inoccuous challenge from Red Stars keeper Christian. The twice taken penalty came to nothing as their lad cracked it against the post. After that it was all Red Stars with some fantastic football down the left hand side bringing a lot of joy in particular. Accies weren't happy with the pass and move philosophy of the Dons side and were struggling to deal with it, which was underlined when MacDonald's brilliant cross from the left was superbly met by Hopcroft on the half volley to put the Reds one up. The joy was short lived however when Accies equalised within a minute when a mix up between keeper and defence let them in for an equaliser. But Red Stars didn't let that get them down and they attacked from the kick off, pushing Accies back. But, the second didn't come until 10 mins before half time when a throw in from Accies to their keeper had Cathcart chase him down and a fantastic finish from a tight angle put Red Stars ahead. Accies tried to turn the tide but just couldn't stop the delightful midfield passing movements of Red Stars and when the ball dropped to MacDonald at a tight angle he drilled a half volley into the far corner for a two goal cushion. But Accies grabbed one back right at the end of the half when a cross was turned in at the far post. Accies came out in the second looking for blood and within five mins they had drawn level. But Red Stars rallied and got the ball on the deck and started their passing movements again and Accies had no answer. Brady and MacDonald had more efforts at goal but the fourth wasn't far away. Soutar, who had been outstanding down the left, ripped both wide midfielder and full back to cross for Hopcroft who finished superbly well for his second of the game. Accies came at Red Stars for the rest of the game but Red Stars stood tall and defended well and hit Accies on the counter very well and in the last few minutes Finnish striker Strandman powered a header into the top corner to put the game to bed. A well deserved victory for Red Stars who never really got out of 2nd gear. Next up... Dumbarton away. COME ON YE REDS!!!!! :ultras: :ultras: :ultras:
  25. Rooney's pen miss was funny but fucking hell!!! Torres is shit. Actually shit. Liverpool are nowhere near as good as that.
