Far from true, or so I'm led to believe. It is apparently an unwritten law at CBS that they do not show Watson unless they really have to. He's a monumental cunt to all and sundry supposedly. Refuses to even say hello to people, tells press and fans to "fuck off" if they ask for a minute of his time and is very unpopular with his peers.
Kow, your admiration and defence of the guy is all very commendable but you can not for a second say that Monty doesn't have big, big problems. Should we all switch off from these just because he happens to be from the same bit of land as us? Same with Andy Murray.
Brown in this morning's Herald:
So you can only presume the other guys are better than Arnason, otherwise we'd just sign him? Surely can't be that we can't afford his wages otherwise we wouldn't be playing him in friendlies?
Came home early from work on Fri to catch some of it and one of the Sky crew (between Clark, Lee or Roe) said it was imopossible for the course to be waterlogged due to the amount of sand on it. Total freak weather.
Good matches you saw there Kow, Cabrera's some boy eh? Doesn't stand on ceremony that's for sure.
Milsom sent off with 10 seconds to go. And afc.co.uk are saying Pawlett got the second even though the Press Agencies are saying it was Jack.
Ref was pretty abysmal apparently.
Coming up to half time, 1-1. Magennis put us ahead on 11 mins, they equalised on 19
Team: Gonzalez, Foster, Mawene, Considine, Robertson, Clark, Fyvie, Osbourne, Paton, Magennis, Mackie.
Scottish Open cut to 54 holes due to rain. There's been a landslide at one hole according to Graeme McDowell. A bit unfortunate considering it's the first year at Castle Stuart, and I reckon they didn't want it heading into Monday because of The Open next week.
Yeah, you're right. I suppose though if he had excellent movement and finishing as well as the ability to beat a man regularly, he probably wouldn't be at Pittodrie.
...wise move I think. Bit of a shame for both us and him that he struggled with his hernia problem in the second part of the season.
I don't think he gets enough credit sometimes for his overall play, his movement is excellent at times.
it's great that rag won't be on sale anymore, but if this wasn't the age of the internet I doubt he'd have been so willing to let it go. The newspaper industry is dying on its arse.
It's a good pub, nothing fancy but it more than does the job and they've been very generous with their offer. So, we want to drum up some business for them when the Dons are on.
It's also got a good beer garden
Cheers Mizer.
I also meant to add that we have secured sponsorship for the coming season from The Rock (pub) in the West End.
Part of the deal is that we watch televised Dons matches in there when we can, so if anyone is ever in Glasgow and the Dons are on TV, get yourselves along to The Rock!
Just an update on this:
We have been accepted into the Official Scottish Supporters Football League and our league season starts on 14 August. In our division there are teams from St Mirren, Airdrie, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton, Stirling Albion and Hamilton.
The draw for the Inter Division Cup tournament saw us grouped with Kerrydale Celtic, 10m Rangers and Dumbarton.
We are currently sitting with a squad of 20 but we’re expecting to complete a couple of signings over the next two weeks.
However, we are still on the look out for another goalkeeper, so if you fancy joining us or know someone who would, please get in touch with us.
Pre-season training starts on the 13th of July.
Cheers
