  1. he later claimed Bossu had done nothing wrong!!
  2. at the earliest... can only resume full training in Sept, may take him a while to get back up to speed.
  3. Agreed. But the problem with having the split is that the powers that be seem to think they now have to have a gimmick, that it's the only way forward.
  4. From yesterday's Fiver:
  5. you mean Ricky Foster, who considers himself to be a midfielder?
  6. Aye, but they're even shiter at full back, which is the scenario I can see being played out next season...again.
  7. Should have said that then!
  8. I think you've missed my point, which was this guy should never be paid to play football for us again, so if we do give him a wage, he'll be the one laughing, not us.
  9. if we ever give him a wage - of any sort - again, I'd suggest it's diamond who has us over the barrel.
  10. As it should be. Far too many people panicking over this.
  11. Not sure. There are also rumours going about we've approached Michael McIndoe
  12. That cock Billy Davies is out the door at Forest too.
  13. http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/sport/health_farm_norwich_city_for_aberdeen_target_smith_1_918368 I don't think this is dead. If Norwich had any sense they'd meet Smith half way, give him a decent pay off and let him sign for the Dons.
  14. Daniel Uchechi 21 year Old Striker Nigerian U23 player
  15. The tournament in Troon was cancelled due to problems with their pavillion/clubhouse, so the Red Stars played their last match of the season last night, here's a match report from one of our players:
  16. He'd have been a superb addition.

    You not like it, then?

    Andy Murray

Hmmm... I wouldn't say he's better than all of them at all actually, but there you go. Monty was never no.1. He was pipped twice by Ernie, and I'd argue he rightly should have won neither as he didn't shoot a good enough score. He also monumentally bottled it in 07 at Winged Foot. Possibly the biggest bottle job I've seen in sport until Rory McIlroy in April at the Masters. Monty couldn't close the majors out. I'd wager most top golfers at that time would want to be chasing Monty down at the top of a majors leaderboard than pretty much anyone else in the world's top 50 at that time. I fully agree Murray just isn't good enough to consistently win Grand Slam events over those ahead of him in the rankings, however, he's 4th in the world, not 44th. I honestly think he should be putting up a better showing than he is... 3 GS finals... no sets won. That's why people say he's bottling it, because there's no fight there, certainly not the fight of a man only a couple of places away on the WR list.
  19. Mods: Apologies for another topic on Reds Stars, just want to get the message across about the need for new players. Hope you don't mind. Thanks. As you may know, Red Stars is an Aberdeen supporters team based in Glasgow but with members from as far a field as Ayrshire, Dunblane, Stirling and Edinburgh. We’re currently looking at moving into the official Scottish Supporters League which will be a step up in terms of organisation of our current league. If we are accepted into this league, we will be facing teams from the Old Firm, Hearts, Falkirk, Motherwell amongst others from the Central Belt, and this is your chance to represent Aberdeen. We are currently looking for players from across the Glasgow area, Central and Ayrshire to join the club. This will give you the chance to represent the Dons, meet other Dons fans in the area, join our AFC registered Supporters Club and of course improve your fitness and football skills with regular training sessions (usually Thursday evenings) and league matches (Sunday afternoons). As I mentioned earlier, we have lads involved from all over the Central Belt taking in Edinburgh, Stirling and Ayrshire amongst others, so please do not feel you are too far away for getting involved. Even if you don’t want to play in the matches, you are more than welcome to come along to training sessions. So, if you are interested or know of anyone who would be interested, please just drop us a note at clubfutbolaberdeen@gmail.com for the attention of Stuart or Greg. Many thanks and Stand Free
  20. Martin Jol is the new manager of Fulham. Good move for them I reckon.
  21. Aye, read yesterday that his record is better than one in 3. Maguire's record is worse than one in 7.

    Andy Murray

Are they playing on clay at Wimbledon and New York this year...? And, yeah, Nadal and Federer are probably better than the majority of those players... doesn't change the fact that Murray isn't better than any of them.
  23. You should have moved then... oh.
