  1. I remember it, if it has photos of Jamie McAllister in it modelling? I've got a copy of it somewhere! Don't know if it was the only one ever published though.
  2. I disagree that the criticism is ott, as that "performance" on Saturday was gutless and a total disgrace. Very few in the team looked like they could be arsed playing, and I'd only give Mulgrew pass marks out of the new signings. Hopefully you are right that we will come good soon enough, I'm not convinced
  3. That's what I did wrong on Saturday, although I put in alot of effort trying to numb the pain after the game
  4. Quote DONS boss Jimmy Calderwood today reassured their furious fans they will recover from their opening day SPL jitters. He said: “We have brought quality in and it will eventually shine through. “It would be daft for anyone to write us off after just one game. “If we are still in this sort of position in three months I might start to worry, but I’m sure that won’t be the case. Three months?!, then he might start to worry “Our home form last season was good, so that makes it more annoying. “The defeat will be seen as a wake up call, but I’m fed up getting those. So are we JC, so are we
  5. Thankfully I remembered to cancel my direct debit
  6. It was between Smith and Foster for me but taking into account the ability we know Jamie has I voted for him.
  7. Qualifying for Europe Top 3 Cup win Beating the huns at Ibrox Beating the tims at Pittodrie
  8. Raith Rovers away for me
  9. Why should I say sorry Aberdeen FC may have denied the story however ... I will have no problem apologising when Aberdeen tell the billy-bully-bhoys to stick their 5% "handling fee" where the sun don't shine. Sadly, I can't see me having to apologise.
  10. Seriously though, what are these events like?. Do you get to ask questions that haven't been previously given to the panel??
  11. I posted this last night ... "Agree too many people apathetic and not prepared to take a stand on any issue in society in general, however I don't see boycotting the huns game at home as an effective way of protesting as it would obviously result in less income for Aberdeen FC. Surely boycotting Iprix would be a better option ??. I assume huns would lose more than what the 5% of their Pittodrie allocation would be (? circa £4200)" What are others thoughts on this?. I haven't been to Iprix before (I'm too feart!). How many tickets we get for Iprix and how much is a ticket?
  12. My initial response to OF "proposal, so I totally agree K9 with what you say below To release the news in the weegie press just shows how totally out of touch AFC are with their fans. To imply it would be AFC fans that would try to cause trouble (by getting tickets for the away end) and that's the reason for deciding to pay the 5% is just another kick in the teeth to their own fans. I was still undecided about renewing my ST. I'm not now. Maybe that makes me not a real fan in some peoples' view, but I don't really care. I am sick fed up of AFC making unkept promises and blaming their own fans for various things. I'm in no doubt that AFC will have someone reading the fans views here and on other internet chat rooms, so they will know our thoughts on this issue (and others) which are clearly being totally ignored. Talking of clearly being totally ignored.... just like any email I have ever sent AFC, and from reading other posts seems I'm not alone in this
  13. I would like to say I'm surprised AFC are apparently not opposing this, however I'm not. Their silence has been deafening. 100% a fucking disgrace if they just roll over and accept this Stringent ID rules for the purchase of tickets by the OF for Pittodrie should make it easy to trace those responsible for any trouble/vandalism/inappropriate singing etc, so the "It wisnae us but" attempt by OF at distancing themselves would be a huge failure. Well done to Falkirk for their integrity .. and to Hearts and Utd for 'rejecting' the OF's proposal, and considering their options for distributing the "away" tickets themselves. Let's hope your source is wrong glasgow sheep or I suspect our average attendance will be down by even more than our ST sales apparently are
  14. , ally s agrees with me for once re Maguire!
  15. Tannadice, closely followed by a few at Pittodrie (others wee gems!) Saying that, I have never been to Ibrox
  16. PM me tmwtm, and I will sponsor you. Be brave quine, it'll be fun!
  17. I am much the same Caroline, although in my circumstances it mean't I got to see Burntisland Shipyard and if I was lucky Raith Rovers!
  18. In the "Don't have one, had one last year" category
  19. Transfer request denied.... some other bugger beat me to her!!
