Willie Miller was manager from my first season. That season we only just avoided relegation. That's my reason for Calderwood being the best because it would be unfair for me to select him ahead of Porterfield and Smith when I never saw the team play under the two of them.
Today though we played some lovely stuff, particularly at the start. This frustrates me because we're clearly capable of it, so why aren't we doing it on a more regular basis?
When I was sent the text that they'd been fired at about half 3 I said then they'll use mutual consent. Willie and JC are pals after all so will be doing him a bit of a favour I suppose.
Jimmy has done a more than respectable job at Aberdeen. I do think it's gotten a bit stale though and a change of pastures new would be best for both sides. The thought of a new manager and the changes we are about to experience is exciting but knowing our club we'll fuck this up spectacularly.
And where have I said this was all bull shit?
On numerous occasions I have read K9 exclusives which have tended to be a lot of bull shit. I'm sure one in particular was about Jackie McNamaras career ending injury.
It's not quite as black and white as that though.
I'm fuming this has happened so close to a big game but i'm more pissed off with the fact JC either let this happen or the players have so little respect towards the gaffer that they'd have this night out behind his back.
Also Penfolds Tommy Wright comment made me lol.
Yeah he's superb until he comes up against a player of the quality of Evra, Cole or Clichy, when he's not shooting and when he's not trying to cross the ball.
Yeah, thats what I said in the MOTM thread. Give him a couple of years and I reckon he could be a Premiership squad player. Christ look at players like Aaron Lennon. I think he's terrible but some experts rate him at about 10million quid!
We should be offering him a 5 year deal to stave off any form of interest. Although he does flatter to deceive at times he's still the most exciting prospect we have. Definitely a player we should be taking a gamble on.
Fuck all the defender in question could have done, especially when he made an incredible tackle in the first five minutes which probably would have seen us lose by more than we did had he not made the challenge.
Can't find a flaw with your post.
Stuart Dougal admits mistakes? Is this the same Stuart Dougal who still claimed on Wednesday that the McDonald tackle on Wilkie was nothing?
I don't understand how with one viewing of the Lafferty incident and one viewing of the Bougherra incident he thoguht theres was harsh but said he'd need to see ours again.
