Club just called me. Asking if I was willing to take part in the Red Lottery. Was glad because I keep meaning to join but kept forgetting. Hopefully the club have been calling some more people.
Would love that but can never see it happening due to the Ultras high and mighty attitude where they won't sing unless they have started the song and due to a fair percentage of fans thinking they are cunts.
I have no problem with the displays they do, they are great. I draw the line at flag waving during the match.
What a load of pap. Name a side in the world who have both their regular forwards consistently bagging goals.
Modern day football doesn't work like that.
My biggest beef with the Ultras is that it seems more about self promotion than trying to create an atmosphere.
If they don't start the song then they aren't interested in singing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KqwZmYvP-M&feature=related This is probably the best one i've seen.
Hearts were on again yesterday though. Very good yet again.
Sorry, didn't realise i'm not allowed to let my eyes wander from the game momentarily. Heres a thoguht, if there not looknig for attention then why wave big fuck off flags before the game and at half time and hit a drum off beat for damn near 90 mins??
The games i've went to this season i've watched him closely. It's not just his link up play. But also the way he leads the line. He makes great runs across the ball, which no one else picks up on. It leaves yards and yards of space which you feel would be picked up on if Jamie Smith was there.
Most games Miller doesn't get the desired service. Yesterday he maybe should have scored with a header and was unlucky not to reach a great cross from Maguire. Days like this will inevitably happen.
I can't comment on his recent form, have only seen highlgihts. But yesterday anytime the ball was played to him he had Dods or Wilkies arm round his throat, or them climbing all over his back to stop him jumpnig for the ball. There is only so much he can do.
Incidentally the yellow card he got for diving (which i agreed with at the time) was not any less of a foul than Vidal seemed to be penalised for the whole game.
The most annoying part for me was watching 'the leader', and i'm calling him 'the leader' because he looked like the only one old enough tomake relations legally with a female, banging on a drum, not watching the game, facing them. Why?!
The pish your speaking proves you don't watch us play (obviously I know it's hard for you to see the games). Miller is instrumental in almost everything we do. We NEED him in our team. We don't NEED him to be the goal scorer. It's the likes of Mackie and Bebo we need to profit from Millers excellent link up play and the space he creates for the strike partner.
Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood:
"I'm very frustrated. The tale of our games against Dundee United over the last few years is that we keep giving them goals.
"But all credit to my boys, they showed a lot of character to come from behind and they worked so hard to get our goals.
"I thought we dominated it and we seemed to be in the ascendancy all the time.
"So I can't fault the players apart from two stupid mistakes."
Dundee United manager Craig Levein:
"I felt exasperated for long spells today. But I can't fault the boys for their effort and they showed plenty of grit and determination.
"Perhaps trying to play football was our biggest fault because we kept on getting caught on the ball on a very difficult pitch.
"Even at 2-2 we both kept trying to get that winner, so it made for exciting entertainment for those watching, but a nervous second 45 for myself.
"This is a hard place to come so we'll take a point up here."
Must have missed the part where United tried to play football
