  1. Tell them to bolt, we shouldn't entertain the idea of selling our best players. If Hayes wants to go (fuck knows why he would) then start negotiations at £1.5-£2m mark
  2. Risky move, the fans will crucify him if it doesn't work out.
  3. Agreed, I've never been particularly impressed with Sammon. I don't think he'll add anything to what we already have.
  4. I think the Hibs support would go tonto if they approached Houston. He's constantly winding them up every time Falkirk pump them.
  5. Agree with the Robson comments, he was immense the other night, a real winner. I found the game to be quite frustrating. Taylor still launches the ball into no mans land every time he gets it, I wish to fuck he'd lift his head and actually try and pass to a team mate. Also, why the fuck does Brown nearly always opt to punt the ball aimlessly up the park. Umpteen times Robson, Shinnie, and Logan came short for him and not once did he take them up on it, he just launched it hopelessly up the park and gave United very easy possession. McLean was outstanding, that lad has all the tools to play at a higher level. Never wastes a pass, technically very good, he's a constant threat in the final third too. Shinnie was his usual brilliant self, and Logan looked good too.
  6. Very average defender, was his goal tally not in double figures one season when Miller was in charge? I think it was the season we handed out thrashings to everyone except the huns.
  7. Like others have said it'd be a shame if United go down, great away day. That said, you really want the best teams in the top league, if you're finishing bottom then you don't deserve a place in the PL. The Rangers are dead certs imo to come up, wouldn't at all surprise me to see whoever finishes 11th in PL win the play offs and stay up.
  8. If he's struggling to get a game for Wigan then that probably tells its own story. You reckon Souttar is a coup? Suppose time will tell but, for me, half a decent season two years ago isn't anything to write home about.
  9. Nae idea what the Dauda boy is like but I wouldn't touch Cowie or Souttar.
  10. Lack of ambition on AFC's part imo. Tansey, imo, isn't good enough to hold down a regular starting place with us. Also, this window would have been a real opportunity for AFC to make a statement of intent. Spend decent money on a couple of players, players who'd be starting every week and can make a real difference. Celtic are there for the taking.
  11. Meh, nothing special.
  12. Unreal, isn't it? I wonder what kind of money they're offering the players?
  13. Can't say I've really been that impressed with Quinn, seems to lack concentration and gets pulled all over the place.
  14. Had Reynolds not had a complete mare I reckon we'd have won that quite easily. We did well with 10 men and showed a lot of balls, something that was sadly lacking last week.
  15. Decent player, been very impressed any time I've seen him this season. Very good on the ball and can mix it up too.
