Bullshit. I, as well as a load of my friends were in that boat when we bought our first properties. Bought cheap with a load of work to do and spent money when the pay cheques came in doing them up. I spent two or three years doing a mixture of washing dishes in the bath, showering at work, living off a microwave oven in the living room, sleeping on the couch, borrowing 3 bar heaters until the boiler was installed and living out of cardboard boxes. It's far from ideal but needs must. A little bit of elbow grease and roughing it never hurt anybody and it meant I ended up with a whole new skill set and a pad that was done exactly the way I wanted. The young team just want everything handed to them these days. Toughen up ffs sake.

I'm going to have to side with CTS on this one as well. I think people really have just forgotten how to save. Sure you might have to save more than previous generations but it's all relative. Gone really are the days when people had to save up for anything so it's probably a shock to the system when they actually have to put some of their hard earned cash to one side. You hear plenty stories of kids who haven't left home yet with £20k credit card bills and students running up vast amounts on loans with no real regards on how they'll pay them off. Furniture can all be put away on tick, shops practically throw store cards at you everytime you're at the check out, most electrical equipment can be bought on installments. I think I currently have three items that I'm paying up at 0% interest free. Why wouldn't I sign up for that? So that also goes for me, I can't remember the last time I had to save for anything in day-to-day life. You name it, you could leave your house without a penny in your pocket and come home with a new TV, car, holiday, pair of tits, etc. Except a house that is. You'll have to actually save for that. Do youngsters these days think previous generations collected 'free hoose' vouchers from cornflakes packets or something? Work hard, extra hours where possible, save some money for a deposit, buy a house. It's always been the same. Fucking lazy young cunts.

It's taken a few years, but it's finally sunk in.

Also Tweeting conspiracy theories about the 'injustice'. Had that happened to the Tims and they hadn't got a penalty for it he'd have charged the pitched and Tweeted like a bairn about it as well. Muppet. -
Makes no odds who is brought in, they'll still have the same Board asking questions of them. Although I doubt they bother to ask any. Best we can hope for is for someone to come in and polish the turd that is our football club. The problem is, it'll still reek of shite.

Major Restructuring in the Pipeline for SPL

Am I the only one thinking that a 9-3 ballot is almost as much a waste of time as a 10-2 ballot? Say for instance one club cements itself as the 3rd placed club for a few seasons, they'll end up siding with the OF to get the league as they want it, again monopolizing (tripopolizing?) the league to further their own stature. Or a club who might be fighting relegation or fending off administrators might become OF lapdogs to so that they can feed off their swelled gates a couple times a season to help them stay in the league. Wouldn't put it past the OF to loan them a few fringe players under the grounds of 'first team action' to effectively buy their vote. 8-4 makes more sense to me. -
My biggest gripe is that the OF hold all the cards in a joke league, whereby thousands of fans turn their backs on watching it each season. They've slinging an arm round their biggest rivals so they can fuck the other SPL teams in the arse whilst they both look for a way out of the league. Now it's come out that Rangers weren't happy enough taking the lion's share of the deal so they cheated to root themselves at the top of the league for over a decade. If the 'rebel 10' clubs vote to keep them in after all that then I'm not surprised people will give up. The game was already a bogey before this all came out and this has just compounded it. It'll certainly be the last straw for me.

Major Restructuring in the Pipeline for SPL

Any company would be foolish to invest in the SPL whilst too many issues are up in the air at the moment. Get the current set-up to fuck, redraw new plans with fresh ideas and the investors and sponsors will flood in. -
Bit rich all this Yank politics bashing considering we're being run by 2 fuckers nobody wants or really truly understands how they are supposed to work together. Meanwhile the country they supposedly run is in a panic over non-existant fuel shortages and pie tax inflation.

I'm confused. I got the impression that it was cool to like Anchorman. Now reading this thread it appears that it's cool not to like Anchorman. Best sit on the fence and say I've never seen it.
