  1. Just out of interest; when the administrators move in, who pays them to do their job?
  2. Next time, bring a spell checker and some punctuation. Mizer - I know who that is. Half expected him to be involved before I saw the pictures and not in the least bit suprised to see he's at the forefront.
  3. I suggest a knighthood or key to the city of Aberdeen.
  4. 'Elo to you too. What you doing on my island?
  5. 100 people in a city of 200,000. Caledonia will be along to tell us that this is a majority.
  6. The Gossip. Beth Ditto.
  7. They do good chips there though.
  8. Wouldn't be surprised to click on one of these news links and find Rocket embroiled in one of these Hun fuck ups.
  9. On behalf of the North East of Scotland: The Northern Lights, European Song and the theme tune from Reflections. Willie Miller, Alex McLeish and Angus the Bull. Aberdeen bypass, civic square and a Trump golf course.
  10. I thought Jack had a decent game. Certainly found more red jerseys and looked willing to take people on than Fyvie. Whom I thought had a complete 'mare of a game. Reynolds however, was shocking. No idea who he is, where he came from or when we signed him. Hopefully that's the first and last time I hear of him. Distribution was in general was shocking and there were a real lack of ideas. Everything seemed to go down the right side and more or less ended with Fyvie giving the ball away or passing backwards. Thought the Nigerian lad looked like he had a decent touch.
  11. A sign of things to come? *fingerscrossedsmilie*
  12. I honestly, genuinely, feel sorry for anyone that never experienced E back in the late 80s or early 90s. It was the most social drug there ever was. You wouldn't sit in a room by yourself or cower over a toilet seat fumbling about with it. You'd be in a room of like minded people, doing it together. I took it regularly (once a week), but not in any great quantities (one usually did the trick) and I have taken it fairly recently (couple months ago maybe?) just for old time sake. God knows what is in them nowadays, granted you could always say that about them, but at least back then they were MDMA based. Now with all these synthesised 'plant foods' it could be anything. Once the governments started making it harder for people to aquire the ingredients (companies had to have a licence to buy the chemicals) then that's when the real danger started. That's when the home chemists started mixing anything for that hit. If you was lucky it was caffeine, chances are it wasn't. But then again, who knows? Part of the beauty of E was that it didn't diminish as it got passed from person to person like powders did. If it was cut with anything then it was done during manufacture and as they were all branded with little symbols, you soon got wind of which were the 'sweeties' and which were 'duds'. That all said, I never recommended the drug to anyone, quite the opposite but if any mates were convinced they wanted a pop then it was a great experience to share. Half my mates did it, half didn't, but the half that did felt like a little secret club that bonded way more that my drinking buddies ever did. It was the love drug after all.
  13. There's a lot of talk going on in here about leagues elsewhere, investment from abroad and attracting viewers from other catchment areas. Scottish football has been dying slowly for years and I'd prefer if we just sorted out the game and concentrated on getting Scottish crowds back through the gates. A fresh start with or without the Huns and Tims grabbing the lion's share is a start to that. Just hope the governing bodies have the brains and balls to do something about it.
  14. Mary Epworth - Black Doe
  15. Yeah, the league would crumble if we didn't have an organisation at the top of it who spent millions of pounds that they didn't have, whilst not paying any tax.
  16. One way or another they're royally fucked. Pun intended. HMRC just won't walk away from £50m they're owed, especially in these times of financial crisis whilst the same guy has companies and assets in his pocket. Even if he gets out of paying it by some miracle or loophole, he'll be lucky if he can spend a penny without them breathing down his neck. They'll get what's coming. One way or another.
  17. Who do they play this weekend? God I wish it was us. It's now imperative we make the top 6, just so we can laugh in their faces.
  18. Not easy for Scotland's gloryhunters from Perth, Sterling, Aberdeen, Inverness, etc to make the trip there on a week night.
  19. Please let this become a reality..... http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/early-doors/mick-mccarthy-england-manager-085957417.html
  20. Maybe the Huns might be interested? Maybe Arnison could pay his own signing fee to the Huns? Sign the fucking deal you plug.
  21. I lol'd when I heard and I'm still lolling about it now. Can't say I'm too fussed about them slipping down to Div 3. I think I'd prefer to see them in our division struggling with the rest of us. A more even distribution of cups, revenue, tv money and european positions awaits the other SPL teams. How could that possibly be a bad thing?
  22. Do you take your BCAA's all the time or just when you're training?
  23. Ahem........... Mackie............ Second place...........
