Again we seem to be back to the arguement that the money would be better off spent elsewhere. The money won't be spent elsewhere because the council's money doesn't exist unless this goes ahead and the private investors aren't willing to put upwards of £70m into 'boarded-up council houses'. The way I see it is that the council shouldn't be skint in the first place with the amount of money rolling through the city. There lies the problem.

All our players seem to go south before heading back north to sign for one of our rivals with their pocket full and their tail between their legs. Don't see why we shouldn't tap this market as well. Anyone of any use heading south this season?

Wouldn't have been in the UK that I saw it. Probably sometime in 2006/2008 when I had an open plane ticket and used to scoot about at weekends. I can actually picture the room it was in when I saw it but I just can't for the life of me remember where it was. I'm a sad act, I keep all my old ticket stubs in a shoe box, so I'll have a dig and see if I can put an end to this head slapping.
