  1. December 21, 2009, 03:16:14 PM: August 11, 2011, 01:55:29 PM: These cunts are making a career out of this saga.
  2. Elvis - Burning Love
  3. I read a headline at the weekend that said 'Trump To Fight Wind Farm'. I LOL'd out loud. The thought of some guy with a rug on his head throwing punches at oversized hair driers tickled me. Blazing a trail as per usual I see. How's the bypass coming along?
  4. If you type Brown's phrase ‘Aberdeen FC can hit the goal trail even without a new striker' into Babel Pish you get 'We're not getting any more strikers in and and will have to do with what we've got'.
  5. I want to punch everyone involved with the train station / cup of tea posts.
  6. Two games into the season and we've already been called the "dismal Dons" by the press. Although Brown is still looking to get players in before the window closes. So we are in fact we're being called 'dismal' before our season has started. Great.
  7. Should have said it the day after it happened. Just seems to be dragging out something that should have been long since buried. That may have been down to the paper though. Crazy notion. Too many dickheads in our fanbase for that to happen.
  8. Yeah, Pittodrie is the first place the police need to be targeting for the new anti-sectarian laws.
  9. Well unless they printed that story in Redweb or one of the matchday programs then no, it wasn't to do with that thread. I'm fairly certain one of the players gave a quickfire questions interview about their team mates like the Soccer AM one (Who's the longest in the shower). Might have been Aluko because I also remember him banging on about clothes and saying Considine was the worst dressed because he was always wearing tracksuits and just didn't care.
  10. Personally I think it's a good thing that it's happened. It was always going to happen and it's better that it's happened in front of a small crowd of numpties that he could address personally, instead of a baying mob of idiots at home. Hopefully some of those numpties at home now realise that they're being just that and will at least give him some time as captain to see how it goes. Although sadly I doubt that will happen. Despite what some might think of him as a footballer, he had bags of experience before he went out on load, not to mention two ex-Scotland managers seeing something in him. Foster has always came across well in interviews before his loan deal and during that time his answers were always carefully worded to not upset anyone with more than one brain cell. He seems like an intelligent guy, didn't he used to be called Wikipedia or something by his team mates? If that's what it takes to get CB's message from the team talks across onto the park during games then so be it. Time will tell. Aye. We don't want a vocal captain who stands up for himself. Fuck that.
  11. Good to see the papers getting a spoonful of their own medicine. Although I doubt Murdoch will even get a taste of it. Build them up, build them up, build them up, then once they think they're untouchable - BOOYA! - knock the fuckers down!
  12. Wasn't Considine captain for a few games at the tail end of last season?
  13. That should put the record straight to all those sitting on the fence about whether or not to buy a season ticket.
  14. Business good?
  15. It was around July I was there, but it was only a stop-gap on the way back from elsewhere. 40+ during the day, 30+ at night and 30+ degrees in the sea. 30 fucking plus in the fucking sea! Still trying to get my head round that. I'd spent a week and a half on a beach previous, so it was mainly just sightseeing and dotting from one air conditioned building to the next.
  16. Can't tackle a fish supper. Can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. Should fit right in.
  17. Since he's obviously not interested in building a football team: http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/9095633.Fence_built_through_middle_of_goalposts/
  18. Heading to www.hovefestival.com for my festival fix this year and then Darwin Deez at the Bowery in NYC. Looking forward to The Vaccines, thought the album was decent. Oh, and Deadmau5. Last time I saw him it was electric.
  19. I truly couldn't give a toss who we are playing from week to week now. If AFC have now made it even more difficult for me to find out then I probably won't even bother trying to find out. Seems they are hell bent on severing all ties with the fans. If that's the case then they're doing a fine job.
  20. Plenty other ways you can break up the journey to Hawaii. San Fran, Toronto, Vancouver, Miami, LA...... all worth a shout. Chicago I've not been to and would have been my other preferred route but another trip to NY wins every time.
  21. Funnily enough I'm heading to Hawaii next month. Via 5 nights in NY and 5 in Vegas. Expect a PM scunnered999
  22. Anyone know if this be available to watch on RedTV?
  23. Just checked my holiday snaps and funnily enough I've got the exact same photo. Albeit on a much shittier day by the looks of things. Must have just been the humidity or sand getting kicked up. Although it was a beautiful day on terra firma, blue skies, not a breath of wind. Still, quite an empty experience for me, summed up beautifully by the observation deck:
