  1. My parents don't seem so cocky "leaving all this shit weather behind" when they went on holiday, now that they have to drive back up the road in the thick of it. Anyone know how the route is between Edinburgh and Aberdeen?
  2. Was just about to PM you to see if you had a good time.
  3. He's stuck him out on loan so that he can continue with the "once I get all my own players back on the park" routine.
  4. Think a sending off for the elbow/shoulder thing would have been harsh. It's always going to happen if you shrug someone off when they have their face planted in your back. No need for Messi to be there. That said, I'm surprised Carvalho he was still on the pitch at the end. Going to be quite interesting in the next Spain dressing room considering Ramos put Puyol on his arse. Ah-thi-thi-thi-thi-thi-thi-thi-thi-thi.........
  5. In that case, what's the chances of him sticking around? How long is his contract?
  6. I'll start by saying that this isn't a pop at him, as it seems all too easy in this current climate to look for scapegoats. But he came to the club all guns blazing, vowing to instill a winning mentality, encourage and mentor the youngsters, make changes behind the scene like 'no mobile phones on matchdays, footwear in the showers, players tidying kit up behind themselves', etc..... Seems strange to me that the best captain we've had at the club in years has came when we've hit our biggest downer in years. So what has happened? Surely he's been here before with Hearts. He's had experience of slumps, backstabbing, unease in the boardroom, changing room squabbles, managers with squeaky bums and so forth. Has he been sucked into the AFC void and swallowed by the dour forces that hang over the club? Has his head went down as well? Is he hitting his head against a granite wall like the rest of us? I can't for the life of me imagine it was all just hot air to win the fans over because he genuinely looked and sounded ("we this" and "we that" in interviews) like he was happy to be at the club.
  7. It's all well and good to say they "would have been up the road a long time ago" but they are the best that Aberdeen can afford. I don't think I've seen any of them play as badly as they are now and that's down to one man. But I'm sure you'd be as shite with them Stoney.
  8. Maguire, Considine, Zander, Pawlett, Aluko and Fyvie all been playing for 20 years have they?
  9. Not even snow storms and a referee strike could help stop his team getting beat last weekend. The only reason McGhee did well at Motherwell is because some peer dude drapped deid and as a result the club and team galvanised and secured 3rd place. McGhee hasn't managed to build a team, a squad or a winning mentality in the dressing room at Aberdeen and because of that he's royally fucked it up from start to finish. Perhaps if he'd have shown more then the board would have backed him. I doubt we'll ever know. I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO!
  10. They cut back on stationary as a budgetary measure in 2009 after failing to draw up the 5 year plan over a 15 year period. http://uk.wrs.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0WTf20lye9M7wsArUNWBQx./SIG=12rnacs47/EXP=1290811813/**http%3a//localism.com/image_store/uploads/1/8/5/5/0/ar122066194105581.jpg[/img]
  11. I just about slit my wrists reading about AFC as it is. The last thing I'd want to do is sit and read through their accounts.
  12. I can't even imagine what type of performance you'd expect from Sone Aluko on a reduced terms contract. If he signs it they'd be as well fitting arm rests to his shirt next season.
  13. Can't be that good if he can't keep a 'keeper out that's shipped nine goals in one game.
  14. Fair set of cans on her. That is all.
  15. Do the club go out of their way to piss off the fans and alienate them at every turn or is that completely accidental?
  16. I've never heard of the Olympia before. Furryboots is it?
  17. Oooft!! Didn't know this! I'd have been turning up fashionably late like I did at their Homecoming gig. Went along to that at around 9pm to find there was no queue on the door and walked in to hear Bobby announce "this is our last one, thanks for coming". It had kicked off hours beforehand and the bar had been free all night. *massiveheadslap* Primal Scream - early bedders!
  18. "We do require to change some aspects of the way we operate" Where did that quote come from?
  19. "Scott Leitch is bullying the young kids" Good! What do they think is going to happen when they step on the pitch against your average SPL journeyman, in front of us lot?
  20. If he's that low in confidence then he shouldn't be picked to play when there's someone else parking his arse on the bench.
  21. ......right up the ahitter.
  22. There's nothing surer for the Dons that after a resounding win than a complete and utter lack of passion. I'm going for a draw on this one.
  23. Conspiracy theorists would say that McGhee is making him earn his place and slowly giving Maguire a taste of what he could achieve if he were to sign a new contract without being Billy Bigballs and asking for too much money. That would mean McGhee knows what he's doing though.
  24. lodz
  25. McGhee wouldn't know much about that.
