I haven't voted yet because I feel there's one option missing which would better suit my choice. But I would like one thing clarified; I keep reading on here from various posters that "JC has steadied the ship but now we're moving backwards". Backwards in what way? We've always been shite in the cups and we're in 4th place.

The 'Aberdeen Arena' for me but if some company is willing to come in and pay for it then the 'Durex Dommy Dome' or 'Tampax Sanitary Stadium' will do for me.

As the crow flies, Cove is only a couple miles out of Aberdeen. But as said bird doesn't walk up a 60 degree incline for over an hour, I doubt he's a very good judge of distance. Thankfully nobody has the money to build this thing.

It must be quite difficult to rile your troops when your captain can't even be bothered to put pen to paper. A rot is setting in and we badly need to freshen things up.

Protest on Saturday 11th April
Superstar Tradesman replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
That could also happen but I'm sure the results will lay somewhere in between for all the games played round about us. One thing is for certain. If we win at the weekend then protesting before we could go 3rd is stupid. If we loose on Saturday then protesting before we go into a game where we could slide further is just as stupid. -
What was he banned for? Obviously it wasn't for being an arse or he'd have been gone a long time ago.

Protest on Saturday 11th April

It'll be the same merry band of bams who are camping out over night to get Euro tickets in the summer, just so they can give Mackie a hard time in sunnier climes. -
Protest on Saturday 11th April
Superstar Tradesman replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Idiots. Before that match we could be 2 points off of 3rd place and after it we could leapfrog Hearts. Who the fuck would want to manage our club if the protesters got their wish? Idiots. -

Read elsewhere there's people dead. Shouldn't really be saying that until they know for sure. Nor posting it I guess.

Dons fight to keep starlet

Is that the youth system Willie Miller set up beginning to bear some fruit? We can but hope. More of the same please! -
EE: Aberdeen FC have to stay united
Superstar Tradesman replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I for one welcome this reply as we then get to see both sides of the arguement. The thing that is glaringly obvious from all of this though is the void between the club and fans. It took an open letter from a long-heard-from supporters group to get any awareness that we're not happy. It took a letter to the press from one of the chatsites to alert them to the fact that we're not expecting to match past glories. Then the latest one whereby they seem to think that the home support is shite but totally miss the point that matching up to 'lesser' teams at home just isn't entertaining. I don't care if we ever sign another £1 million pound player. I don't care if we rely on youth. I don't care too much if we get auld cloggers in. But for fuck sake, let opposition worry about us and go out and get stuck in to 'em - heid first! Asking fans to cheer for stifled fitba? Good luck with that. -
EE: Aberdeen FC have to stay united
Superstar Tradesman replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't! Folk have been asking what he's been doing at the club for the past 5 years and now he's going to tell us. I've calmed down a little since the latest cup upset and if the bigger picture is that we're still moving forward off the park then two shite games against a lower league team this season I might manage to swallow. But I want to see us moving forward on the park now and if that doesn't happen soon then it's tattie o'er the side. -
Calderwood Must Go (Today's P&J)
Superstar Tradesman replied to Sweetchuck's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Well at least they're doing something about it rather than just posting snippets. Someone had to say something, we're all itching to, so why not them? Doesn't matter if they've "lost focus" by having less members as 1 person saying the right thing and getting attention for it is good enough for me. Up until now nobody was being heard as us fans don't have any link to the boardroom no matter how many times fitshisnamethefansrep-cough gets mentioned. Even if they don't take notice of what the Trust want them to do, at least they know there's a storm brewing. -
Calderwood Must Go (Today's P&J)
Superstar Tradesman replied to Sweetchuck's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Jager - I don't see what your problem is with the Trust. They've basically sent a well thought out letter to the local rag which covers just about all our concerns. Something that each of us spend snippets of our time in here and various other boards saying day in, day out. Largely just going round in circles and not actually getting to the bottom of. Had they went to the board and actually got answers then we might not have heard about it. Had they went and not got any answers then we certainly wouldn't have. The went to the paper as they and Ajja reminded you because they'd tried and hadn't got anywhere. Now we all know. That torch burning and pitchfork waving joke of a protest that other folk are getting themselves worked up about. Now that's sensationalist bollocks. -
The Worst Of J.C.
Superstar Tradesman replied to Superstar Tradesman's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
You could argue the point that he's been pally-pally with players to entice them North. Something we've struggled to do before. He's also binned Crawford and pointed towards the door for Langfield and Foster yet was 'mates' enough to forgive and forget. Of course this is all what I've gathered from paper talk so it could be quite different to what actually happened. *EDIT - Just saw the other posts relating to this after finishing this one. -

EE: Trust expected Willie to back Calderwood
Superstar Tradesman replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Yes, of course I have, as I'm sure we all have. But then they disappeared more or less as soon as Willie got the job as Director of Football. How many have heard of 'The Society' or anything they've done in the last 5 years? -
Calderwood Must Go (Today's P&J)
Superstar Tradesman replied to Sweetchuck's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
The things that they want to say are only the truth behind their worries. These worries are all plain to see week in week out but he seems to be blind to them. I really do think this will be his downfall if he doesn't open his eyes to them and stop being so pigheaded. -
EE: Trust expected Willie to back Calderwood
Superstar Tradesman replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Well they may think that they're speaking on behalf of the majority of Dons fans and that may well be the case. But they'd sure as hell know that for a fact if they weren't so secretive about their organisation or advertised the fact a bit more. Surely the 400 member drop is largely down to the fact that none of us have heard of them until that letter was sent out? -

He's a busy man. He's a flying instructor for pigs, tends to the hanging gardens of Babylon, writes the weekly fanzone for the Illuminati and is Lord Lucan's righthand man. Give him a break.
