Never realised the significance of this weekend, probably because I'm distanced from the hype. But I was actually invited to Gothenburg this weekend and turned it down..... I might have made more of an effort had I realised and capitalised on a bit of good old fashioned nostalgia! Think I'll just rake out my copy of the Centenary DVD and roar at Hewitt sticking it away (again) instead.

I wouldn't read too much into this. Last season we were told we were looking for old fashioned wingers so that we could widen the play and have a more "continental style of play". Well we signed a few wide men and have created fuck all from the channels..... whenever they actually got a game.

Not sure you have much to complain about at that price. Sure it's not the best league in the world or the best team in that league but I'm sure you'd struggle to fund any other hobby or amuse yourself for £20 most Saturdays. Probably costs you close to that for a cinema ticket these days.
