  1. Is that when his current deal runs out?
  2. All this Aberdeen / central belt stuff is by the by anyway. We've 4 players leaving that by and large we'd rather have stay. If we don't get decent players in to replace them then the dross that we can't get rid of will be our first picks. It just keeps on getting better....
  3. The only two that I can think of that couldn't settle in Aberdeen was Ryan O'Leary who missed his Mammy and Heikenen who missed the boaby. If you want to call us hostile because we don't like bedwetters or poofters then so be it. Edinburgh and Glasgow were populated by cunts like that we sent packing.
  4. They're the ideal because they have went through administration and came out the otherside unscathed. Are you suggesting we're going to Europe at the end of this season? :pullyourheadoutyourarsesmilie:
  5. Leeds were well in the shite with the amount of spending they were doing. Our debt is still very much 'managable' and we've been addressing it for quite a number of years. Yes, yes, very good. None of those teams have the fanbase that Aberdeen does and year on year that fanbase is dwindling.
  6. Well the banks obviously think he's good for it. You mean like 3rd place Motherwell who aren't looking to sell their stadium and then fuck off out of town?
  7. Miller obviously has ideas way above his own station. Even if he does land another club down south, I really doubt he's going to set the heather alight. If that's the case then he's going to struggle to get a gig back up here in Scotland having failed twice in England and having been round half the SPL. What I can't fathom is that JC says that 'Boro want Walker playing each week but he can't play him alongside Nicholson as they both like to get forward. So if Nicholson is leaving does that not mean Walker has a spot to walk into?
  8. The board pulled the plug on the season back in January. Sadly I was lulled into thinking otherwise last week but was quickly reminded come Saturday.
  9. Stuart Milne would have been at each and every one of those games, soaking up the international class corporate packages and sitting in the posh seats at the Allianz. He has the money to gift himself and all the loyal fans that pleasure every season but chooses not to. I hope he chokes to death on his next prawn sandwich. All negative replys in this thread please ya chunts.
  10. *goes to start new thread.
  11. Aye you were right, we were robbed.
  12. I'm at a loss as to whether Byrne is more of a drain on wages now he's constantly injured or if he's a bigger waste of cash when he is playing?
  13. Here's one of my favourite sayings - go fuck yersel. Whether we gifted them the goals or not, they were still up in our box in their droves itching to put the ball in the net. 11 honest, hard working players, who have only recently turned professional have reached the cup final by conceeding no goals until the semi-final. They then beat an SPL club who did well in Europe that same season........ If that's not reason to congratulate someone with a pat on the back then I don't know what is. I was raging at the final whistle and almost took the stairs down to the pitch 5 at a time when I saw Miller applauding the fans. I decided against it and whilst turning for the exits I saw the QotS players applauding our fans. Maybe it's just easier to do when it's not United or Hearts who you've just gifted a win?
  14. Agreed. It wasn't only the result that bothered me, it was the performance and effort put in. If you can't get motivated when you have a chance of Europe next season and a cup final at your national stadium then you shouldn't be making a living from it.
  15. You've just reminded me that I have a copy of that somewhere. God knows where in fact, it's been a good 10 years since I last laid hands on it. Seem to remember the Jethro Tull performance was magic.
  16. You're talking fucking shite min. Falkirk played us 5 days before, gave us a good game but we just nicked it. Had the won I'd not have clapped because they wasted time and were happy to play for the draw. QotS took the game to us, were pushing men forward for the winner, weren't playing back to the walls or boring 1 up front nonsense. Never wasted time play acting or taking time to put the ball back into play and then put 4 goals past an SPL team. They punched above their weight, worked hard and got the win. Clap Lee Miller or clap QotS? No fucking brainer.
  17. Not really. I couldn't give an aerial intercourse about any other team but my own.
  18. ps. I'm still raging!
  19. If fans want to take some sort of stance then they should boycott the away games remaining. It might help put a slight dent in the top 5 club's budget for next season and put the wind up our own club that the fans have had enough.
  20. That is the crux of why I'm so pissed off this season. We had a great standing at the end of last season to build upon and instead of using the sales of 3 first team regulars, the money disappeared and we brought in dross. Fair enough we thought McNamara was a good signing but did anyone in their right mind think Duff, Mair, Young, etc...... was going to be holding down the fort week in, week out? The combined sales of Anderson, Hart & Clark could easily have been covered by reaching both finals. Sure it would have been a gamble to say we'd have reached both finals but then it would have been a gamble worth taking when they see the season ticket sales next season if they don't go some way to appeasing the fans with some decent signings.
  21. Why exactly is that a load of shite? I for one think they deserved the applause, not only from their own fans but anyone who appreciated the good football they played, the obstacle they overcame and the manner in which they achieved the win.
  22. Speaking of God. Maybe it's about time he put on a tracksuit and showed the players how to defend. At least he'd be earning his keep. Then again Sandy Clark isn't exactly teaching our strikers how to find the net or Jim Leighton doing much in the way of turning Langfield or Souter into half decent goalkeepers. Somebody pass the rope....
  23. Jesus, not this shite again. The 11 players on the park should have been good enough to have bet the 11 players they had on the park. There were very few things that JC did that was tactically wrong on Saturday so let's not make it all about him. 11 players on that park wanted to win the game, 11 players didn't have it in them.
  24. Personally I'd like to know how drunk the team got on Friday night.
