  1. AFC shouldn't let this clown anywhere near the front door. Whether he dresses up as one or not.
  2. Is he disguised as the back of the team bus?
  3. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! They're injured, he's going to speak to the physios to see if they can train, then if they can train he's going to throw them into 90 minutes on Sunday. Smacks of desperation and rushing them back. Anyone want to run a book as to how long they'll last?
  4. When did they change the ground to a pentagon?
  5. It's just a pitty that folk rush into knocking everything the club does.
  6. I also hear Jimmy Chungs is to sponsor Deek Young.
  7. K9 - you could say that Touzani was out of favour last time but then he was handed a 2 year deal. More and more of our signings/sales seem to be more based on money matters rather than football ones. For that reason alone, I wouldn't be surprised by who stays rather than who goes.
  8. I might have believed you if you'd not used the link where the EE was having a wee greet about the situation. See, even the EE admits it here:
  9. I might have enough room for that between my Platinum Discs and Academy Awards.
  10. Wrong. The story wasn't slating players, it was making up names of players who were being shown the door in the summer. Would you not be pissed off if you turned up at work and there was an email flying around that you were getting the dunt when in fact your boss had never discussed your position with the person who sent out the email?
  11. The EE/Allan seem to be missing the point completely and if Willie Miller is telling the players to speak to the paper then he obviously is too. The club needs fans to start turning up again, especially the stay-away fans. But the paper just seems to print negative shite about it all the time and is always having a pop at the fans who do turn up. I'm in the position that I don't have access to the EE but I do catch the odd headline or click on a link from time to time. But off the top of my head I can recall storys like "shop the flare thrower", "disgrace fans" and other such sensational bollocks that does more harm than good. How's that going to entice fans back when all they read is someone having a pop?
  12. There's nothing that JC could say that would win over certain sections of our fans.
  13. Is that why nobody visits us pre-season?
  14. Declaring themselves fit. What are we paying medical staff for?
  15. Two words: Rushed. Back.
  16. I'm sure he can think of lots of stuff.
  17. Yeah I know that but this is what happened when I cut and pasted the quote: Jeffrey de Visscher[/b]: Should have scored but impressed with his pace and passing. 7]Jeffrey de Visscher: Should have scored but impressed with his pace and passing. 7
  18. Cheers BigAl. Liked the sharp tongue on Corey and his dislike for authority, so I'll definitely pick up the rest.
  19. What the fuck is going on with the site? Tried 3 times to quote the JVD match rating "impressed with his pace" bit but it's went haywire! I fail at the interweb.
  20. Just finished the Willie Miller book and since I'm doing fuck all else today, I finished the book I was reading whilst I commute to work - Night Fall by Nelson Demille. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Night-Fall-Nelson-DeMille/dp/0751531804/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1204488819&sr=8-1 A good wee read and I'm pleased to hear the main character (a New York detective turned counter-terrorist squad agent) appears in a few of his other books. Probably pick them up the next time I'm buying some more books.
  21. Doesn't stop you critcising other people's music. Maybe you should start producing your own mu........ Ah, wait. Good idea Seebass but you'll find it'll be someone in their bedroom who makes the dosh out of this when the club should be cashing in.
  22. I'll agree with you to a certain point TF but only as far as the first couple seasons. JC then admitted that quality over quantity was too risky and decided to go for strength in depth. At one point we had about 5 or 6 strikers trying to get a slot on a Saturday and the squad looked really healthy. Then something went tits up, not sure what and we're left with shite 2nd picks and nobody in the 'first 11' being hussled for their starting place. Langfield seems to be the exception to the rule.
