  1. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIIIIIIIIIIIIING!! If they're not with us, they're against us. Ultimatum time.
  2. Never trust anyone with a glass coffee table in their house.
  3. I was excited and to be honest it's only really Jackie Mac that's let me down. It's the no-marks that we're bringing in each January that annoys me as we've already enough dross to take up the slack if need be and we should never have been getting rid of first team regulars for £350k (even although it looked a decent amount for Clark). Keeping those players for another 6 months would have saw us reach a cup final, possibly two or another chance of a European place which would easily have paid recouped that cost.
  4. Has anyone that attended the match in Munich watched it on the box since they returned? Was just wondering if your views have changed on any of the 'incidents'? Does it look/sound any different to how you remembered it? Did anything happen that you didn't see during the game? Obviously there'll be a few things that you don't remember due to the carnage in the square beforehand.
  5. Exactly. (I meant McFarlane) I think this is a major problem, one that should be added to the 99 list. As all the fans seem to see it but it seems to escape the attention down Pittodrie Street. The first 11 aren't being challenged for positions so we bring in nothing other than cover in January. The first 11 still don't have anything to worry about and so the cycle continues. In my AFC-world, we'd only bring in players who were better than we already had. If they're not good enough then they don't come in. I'd prefer playing a 16 year old for a few weeks until we could bring in shite-for-cover if need be.
  6. That's one out of a list of Dan Smith, Lee Mair, McCulloch, Daal, Jonathan Smith, Kurrant, Mixu brothers, JVD, Bus, etc......
  7. Dinna be stupid min.
  8. The thing that really fucking annoys me is you'd think the players would have enjoyed Europe and be hungry for more. You'd think that Stuart Milne sitting in the posh seats at the Allianz Arena, with the resources available would have enjoyed it and be hungry for more. Yet nitt, apparently not.
  9. Well the easy solution would be for the club to run permanent cables up to the RDS and when the very, very busy media people come to town they just plug in either end. I've been to many OF games where the sound in the RDS has been deafening. When you watch the highlights or the game again all you hear are the Huns/Tims and not a peep from the home fans. How's that going to entice any stay away fans? "Sounded like there was naebody there!"
  10. Didn't we have an "8 players out" headline about a year and a half ago? Personally I'd welcome 10 out but only if he stops taking players in who won't see the light of day.
  11. What the kneejerkeers don't seem to understand is, we were mere points off of 3rd place behind Motherwell who were playing well. Then someone, who isn't JC, decided to sell off some first team regulars at the last minute and expected him to rebuild the squad with fresh air. Given the choice and backing I'd have fully expected JC to buy in players to challenge the likes of Clark. Instead he loses Clark and has to replace him with, well, nobody. He's going to get the opportunity to strengthen the squad but not until the summer. Until then, we the fans, have been short changed by half a season. For me, this season is over bar the sweetie wrappers.
  12. It appears to me that us board/bored users have all the answers to our problems, but are we actually doing enough (anything?) about it other than bitching and moaning on t'interweb? It's the same stuff that keeps getting mentioned on the boards but nothing or nobody does anything about it. The fans on the continent are quick enough to voice their opinions, be that staged walk-outs or by boycotting games. Whereas we all piss and moan about the same things week in, week out without actually doing anything constructive about it (maybe we just enjoy a good moan?) Now I'm not talking about doing anything to financially hurt the club as they seem to be doing pretty well on that front, but I thought we could be a bit more constructive and list some decent pointers for them. Doesn't have to be anything ground breaking, just something which you think would make your AFC experience a little better. Obviously we all want to sign Messi but it's not going to happen, so probably the simplier ideas will have more chance (if any) of getting some sort of response. If we get a decent response I'll clean it up and send it onto the club. I'll start off with a few and feel free to add...... 1. 4-4-2. 2. TV microphones placed in front of the RDS instead of away (OF) fans. 3. 'Team of the Decade' / old games / season reviews on DVD. 4. If the EE has nothing nice to say, then they don't get to say it. 5. 6. 7.
  13. He's going nowhere. Get used to it.
  14. Look at it this way Al.... we've easily got 10 players at the club who'll never see the light of day and 10 more who should never get a game anyway.
  15. Toughen up you bunch of pooooves.
  16. Then you can come back here and complain like the rest of them that your phone bill is extortionate. I thought there was a glitch in the Matrix this morning.
  17. By the time that's build, cars will have wings.
  18. The plans were rejected because it put a badger off it's supper.
  19. You know me, I'm a social butterfly who floats from country to country.
  20. Fucking part timer.
  21. Close the ice rink, leave the pool open, freeze it on Friday/Saturday nights, money saved, everybody happy. It's not money they need, it's forward thinkers like me.
  22. Realistically though, how long does that take.
