  1. Welcome to football topics 100AK
  2. The main stand alone cost £300k a year to maintain, the south is horrendous, and the upper RDS has restricted view of the beach end goal. It's a fucking dreadful stadium.
  3. ...or western side of city/anywhere in the country, where suddenly travelling to fitba will be hugely easier.
  4. Well this "big time charlie" will be upping from c.10 games a year (plus big time charlie games) to a season ticket. I work in an office of four, one BoD supporter who goes less than me who thinks he'll go about the same as now. Another non-attender who expects to get a season ticket (lives up the hill in Westhill) and a wifie with no interest in fitba. So, anectodes, meh. ...not forgetting the lesser expense for many too, and shorter easier travel than fighting your way to the beach.
  5. We're mean to be other side as we've got the west side of the ground. Passengers are feart of the sheep burners
  6. Designated driver on Saturday, want to park at Asda as is my usual, but passengers nae keen as it's the Hibs. There's a dearth of parking round about, any suggestions?
  7. I was initially the same, but cold light of day, I just can't see that. Dodgy seats for SNP - West ABZshire, Moray, Berwickshire. Not really seeing any more. On the other side, the SNP will be piling in on Fluffy to get him ousted from his tiny majority, and Murray is far from safe in Edinburgh either. Can;t see the Liar losing northern isles, but again he has a wafer thin majority. The over/under is 50.5, i'd be piling on over at this point.
  8. CROOKS! This is why she did it. https://www.channel4.com/news/exclusive-cps-considering-charges-against-over-30-people-including-tory-mps-over-expenses
  9. No indeed DD, tho jess and AK are trying to imply the exact opposite.
  10. Didn't say that, but drinkers are in the minority, and you don't *have* to drink. When I stayed in the city, I drank, now I'm outside again I don't. Hard to believe, but it's not compulsory. Which isn't many people, and they can get on the ample buses provided There's a ton of parking, both at the stadium, Arnhall, and other areas that will undoubtedly open up. nope
  11. No it isn't. Please don't make your points any more pointless
  12. Not seeing the irony here? Care to explain? The accessibility, as you're fully aware, is due to the AWPR and A944, whereas Pittodrie is hemmed in at the beach.
  13. Astonishing. get these fecking Tories out now! June 8th, bring it on.
  14. We've done this before, but every single non-city fan will have an easier trip than now. There's half the current fan base right there. Then many city based fans will now be able to drive instead of taking a bus (due to traffic/parking hassle at Pittodrie). You can basically draw a north to south line through the middle of the city, those on the west will be better with a move, those on the east not. Do I think attendances will rise with a move to a modern stadium? Well while we're known for being obtuse and perverse, we'd be the first new build stadium that wouldn't see a supporter surge, so yes I do.
  15. It is DD, but no-one's asking you to live in Westhill
  16. Well they don't take the bus either tho do they? Which is Jess' point, buses. My point stands, some will go more because it will now be much easier, indeed most fans will find it easier, some will go less cos they will find it harder, but that's a much smaller number. And many will have much the same trip, just east>west, rather than west>east.
  17. Yes well done, that's the perspective from the opposite side up on the hill, the view that Pinecrest Farm will have in fact, I think you'll find they'll be delighted here's some logic - TAKE. YOUR. CAR! None, but massive for Kingsford 500yds from the off/on ramps.
  18. At least half the support doesn't come from the city. And call me old fashioned, but have you heard of cars?
  19. ..the what now?
  20. Hibs in a stinking run of form though. Much more confident than I was when draw was made.
  21. No it isn't. Kingsford is below the level of all of Westhill, you'll see it from up on the golf course, Hillside/Hilltop, but compared to Tesco, or the Arnhall business park, nowhere near as visually intrusive. Kingsford is a great location to get to as opposed to a stadium in Linksfield that is a traffic nightmare. You're just coming out with nostalgic arguments rather than logical ones.
  22. Yes & no DD. He's clearly a Westhiller and not a dons fan. Now though, having given up on trying to justify his ludicrous position by never backing up his point with evidence, he's now just trolling. He's still a mega-Nimby though.
  23. Of all "your" 53 posts "on" this site, this "one" is by far the "biggest" standout as far as "utter" shite is concerned, "not" a single redeeming "feature" to be had, though "I" note descending into "ad hominem" attacks for "no" discernible reason other than most on "here" are disagreeing with you. FYI, I love my wildlife me, love stalking the local deer in fact, in a non-gun-toting way around my local estate, deer spotting I suppose would be a better name for it. Where I wouldn't think of deer spotting though, is on a wide open park full o coos beside a 10k population village and a dual carraigeway. One of my bestest and oldest mates today summed you mob up perfectly (he's a Hun btw), I'd have some respect for these nimbys if they admitted it's all about not wanting a football stadium on their doorstep, rather than hiding behind traffic, or wildlife, or pipelines. It's duplicitous garbage. Loving the random quotation marks though.
  24. I thought you were fine Ryan
  25. Today - working then gardening or golfing depending how I feel Saturday - good scrub of car, clay, polish, then golfing, then pub Sunday - golfing, then pub Monday - working, saves holiday for when I want it, not for when religious freaks decide I should have it
