  1. I haven't at any time said that I wouldn't go to the new stadium. I have however said on many occasions that I think it's a really bad idea to move away from Pittodrie. I have also said that I fear deciding not to go to the new stadium, something which is a distinct possibility. There are just so many ways that they are going to piss me off before Westhill United's first game. Club membership Special club membership Drink at the bar special club membership Naming rights for the new fanny pad arena. Poncy toilets
  2. That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that the facilities are not crap. I'm also saying that Pittodrie is the home of Aberdeen Football Club. Not some namby pamby shite built in a soulless suburb. Edit: For god sake min, you don't seriously believe that they have ANY intention of allowing a standing area do you?
  3. In Shouting "Stuff you're fuckin queen up your arse" Dons win (or it will be thank fuck that seasons over)
  4. Places to go for a pish have to be improved. Bloody hell, no wonder fitba is fucked. Best place to go for a pish was through the fence at the back of the South Stand. The Main Stand bogs are inside so therefore of a posher standard. (play the posh pish polka) Nae good enough for the youngsters? Shame .
  5. He's shite Definately winna be a miss.
  6. Rico is speaking a lot of sense here. I've happily sailed through life being in a minority on 1 on many issues (often to be proved correct I might add) However in this instance it's not just me. In fact the most surprising of people have told me that they will probably pack it in if the move happens. These are guys who have run supporters clubs etc. I admit that most of these blokes, myself included, could hardly be described as the future of Aberdeen Football Club, but they are the present and have been the past. So, if you think of us as the mannies in the bunnets then fair enough. But us mannies have been loons who went to Pittodrie, fathers who took their kids to Pittodrie and now in many cases Grandas who take their grandchildren to Pittodrie. Don't dismiss Rico's comments regarding "Greggs" I imagine many men meet up with their wives after the game, go for a bar supper before driving home. She's been shopping so 2 birds with one stone, you went to the match and you didn't have to go bloody shopping. Anyway, it's all been said before and no one is listening anyway.
  7. In fact quite the opposite. If I don't go at first I very probably never will go. I really don't expect the powers that be would notice my "little protest"
  8. 5000 home fans for a game that's as important as this one? No way back for them now it would seem.
  9. I take the word support literally. I don't support the club by paying to get into Ibrox. I'll never stop being a Dons fan.
  10. Rockets in the sky, must be using some cloaking device Aye, I knew that they had been bought over. Rolls have improved of late though. They were bloody fine back in the day ( from round the back)
  11. I'm getting donsdaft elgindon and 2 guests Anyway, I have fancied going to Sicily for a while. I had Sicilian neighbours for a while. Nice couple, bloody hell could they argue though. Still, I don't suppose you take up with a Sicilian quine for a quiet life.
  12. Hemmin You dinna show up as being online while you're in the sky. Weird min......
  13. Had a couple of Thains rowies this morning ( with dairylee of course *) Lovely. * actually it wiznae dairylee it was from Aldi's in Budapest, for some weird reason they dinna stock the stuff in Aldi's in Aberdeen. Beats the modern day dairylee which has gone all soggy. So I cart the stuff back from Hungary to put on Aberdeen rolls.
  14. C'mon Fergie a' the best min.
  15. Better overall without McLean but Ball really shouldn't be on the park with real footballers. I've backed May to improve but he was atrocious in the first half. The best 45 minutes I've seen from GMS ( first half) he was even winning headers. McKennan just gets better, which is just as well because he was the entire back line today. Cosgrove? hmmm not much, give him a run and see though.
  16. Just heard Mickey Weir saying it's a great thing for Scottish football. Fuck sake but folk believe all the English propaganda. Some player who once played for a team in England becomes manager at Ibrox. What the fuck is the fuss for? He's hardly a world name.
  17. Jeesus No Aitkens rowies in Aberdeen and now no Alamo in Paisley? What the fuck is the world coming to?
  18. It'll still be in Westhill It'll be cheap shite
  19. Still no reason to "get behind" something that you hate the idea of. It's not even as if they will build anything good, it'll be cheap modern shite in a shite shite location. In case I haven't made myself clear, I think it's shite.
  20. Aye but I believe that the quines are getting these slugs tattood of their foreheads now. No matter what I think of the prevailing fashion this is a major mistake. Thank fuck I could take the platform shoes and the flares off.
  21. £22 ? For Ross fuckin County versus Partick fuckin Thistle? Jesus Christ!
  22. The history goes back a long way and it's between the club and anyone who wants to do any fan based activity. There has been no fan club v official club problem since the casuals. If only AFC realised how lucky they were in this respect.
  23. Well, it's a shame, but I'm glad I widnae be a miss.
  24. I hope not but it's a real possibility.
  25. Hopefully these louts won't follow the team to the new Westhill soccerball arena.
