  2. Boy's a Bam
  3. Aye, Scotfree min. They've got all your details on their lists now. You're fucked min.
  4. I see Brendan arsehole whatever his name is has chosen Scotland’s new captain. Nice of him to put in the effort.
  5. how the fuck csn he make that wanker captain?
  6. Ah well, here we go again. C’mon ye Reds
  7. Shite, a split already. How do we keep it out of the Sunday papers?
  8. The English (and their sympathisers) are nae right in the heid. I can only assume it's a plot to give them an excuse to walk away in a massive huff. The football equivalent of their latest meeting is......Donstalk decide to have a meeting on how much we are going to thrash Celtic by tomorrow. A commitee is formed ( amid much bad feeling and threats to join the hat etc.) and we get down to business. Rocket wants a 1-1 draw but after we threaten to expose him in The Mail for once fancying his secretary he backs down grudgingly. My suggestion of 9-0 is rejected on grounds of over optimism at this point although we all agree it is the eventual goal. Day turns into night and the debate goes on As dawn breaks the sky we present ourselves to the waiting press, declaring victory, solidarity and a major breakthrough in Scottish football, even Rocket is persuaded to smile for the cameras (all be it from the back row) Big Al announces our momentous decision.....The Dons are going to win 6-0 and Celtic are going to have Scott Brown sent off and miss two penalties. Overly pleased with ourselves we head for home. Now, we only have to convince Celtic.
  9. After a couple of seasons of just playing friendlies against local pubs, to make sure that they could regularly fied a full team.
  10. I gave up keeping a close watch ages ago ( I know I know, they rely on that) What I want to know is, why, when the openly pretend to be the same entity as the old club, does the taxman not come after them for the old clubs debts? I know the real answer to the question is "because we're in Scotland" but that's not an acceptable answer really.
  11. Just been to the baker. There's a quine at the baker who's a rabid Tim. Last week I went in and told her that was Celtic out of Europe. She seemed surprised but I explained that ...winter break...first game out of the way....etc. etc. Anyway the upshot was that I told her that they would get beat 3-0 in the return leg. I'll admit to wearing a certain know all smirk this morning but the poor quine, almost tears in her eyes, said these immortal words. "They've got a billion pound stadium in a'hing, how are we supposed to compete with that?" I remember when a football conversation could go whole minutes without mentioning money.
  12. You were doing a'right there until you mentioned the words women and efficency in the same sentence.
  13. If we want to win, then drop McLean. It would be a start at least.
  14. DooooooooooooLally
  15. Nae buying it for me obviously but certainly nae buying it at a' if it's blue. red and red white and black
  16. I did have a local referree wearing them the other morning. He didn't seem too keen on any publicity though
  17. Oh well done that man. I was trying to manoeuvre "Tim" into my answer yesterday but then realised that Rico was probably referring to the origin of the frame.
  18. Indeed
  19. In an enterprising move to replace Specsavers as sponsors of SFA referrees, our very own Optical Warehouse has offered to provide the officials with free sunspecs for the coming season.
  20. It's total bollocks not quite as pathetic as the ridiculous play off shite in the first division but pathetic enough.
  21. Playing for England.
  22. Christ! is it not finished yet? How any of you can watch this and support the Hun team is beyond me.
  23. I'm not going to call for McInnes's head. In fact, in the cold light of dawn it's a good thing that Easter Road is a very difficult ground to win at. Scottish football would be 100 times better if five or six teams were in with a shout for the title when we kick off in August. This means losing games, I know, it's not nice but what's the alternative? It's setting us up to contain that's the problem. The worst I ever saw was the last home game to Celtic. I could have left after 5 minutes, so inevitable was the result. Last years League Cup Final wasn't much better. I thought we did better at Parkhead last time but a defeat meant the pitchforks were out again. Losing at Parkhead is not a crime provided you have a go and I thought we had a go that day. I was working on Saturday and only caught about 15 minutes of the first half so I can't really comment on that. It was long enough to see McLean wimping out of 3 tackles though. What did he get booked for, his laces being undone or something?
  24. Good find min. It wasn't a dislike of Christie that caused the problem, it was our lack of self esteem in borrowing a player from the big club. I have attended games when we have been captained by Foster, I attended games through the black affront of having a numpty like Calderwood as manager. The lowest of the low though would be Lennon. Who would we choose as assistant, Nacho Novo?
  25. Let me vow here and now that I will NEVER watch a Dons game with that arsehole Lennon as manager.
