Well BB min, that comes as a bit of a shocker. Street fitba of course could be anything from 3 to 33 a side. But full 11 a side was what I played through from Life Boys, Primary School, Secondary School, Juvenile, Youth, District (under 27, don't ask) Amateur then finally Sunday Welfare. While I understand the principal of reducing numbers for teaching skills ( a fair bit of childhood fitba was 20 players chasing the ball and 2 freezing goalkeepers) it's astounding that players wouldn't understand 11 a side, full size pitch fitba. No wonder the Scotland team is shite.

That depends on whether you think he's past his best. I think he's just had his best couple of seasons. The clatterings will have taken their toll (admittedly he will get less of those wearing hoops) and his hamstring is dodgy. It's a young mans game up front, something Aberdeen would do well to remember.

Old, past their best but signed for their experience players are all very well in the center of defence or as a midfield playmaker/ clogger. Signing old, past their best nippy wee wingers is another thing altogether.

Well, I accept I'm a voice in the wilderness but all we are doing is helping the likes of Celtic to hoover up all the young talent in the game, whether or not they have any intention of playing them. I think maybe it would be a good idea to consider whether Inverness would have been relegated with Christie in their team. Take a look what happened to Dundee United.
