I heard Boris being interviewed on Radio 4 this morning ( about 8.30 it's worth listening)
He's entertaining, I'll give him that, but anyone ever voting for him and his kind need their heids looking.
Real money?........SOLD
The BIG end of season story from now on is, of course, Rangers.
They might break off for a minute to cover the Scottish Cup Final.
I said "might"
Well, from the paper I read yesterday ( I didn't buy it, honest *) it looked like they expected £30,000,000 to be spent so that they match their weegie pals.
* It was The Sun, nothing could persuade me to read The Daily Ranger
Nae quite.
They gave up on the austerity plan, meaning wasted years struggling away.
You can see that Trump is going to try and engineer a boom which of course the English will copy.
Then it's just another countdown until the next bust.
Just one question, how come I never seem to benefit from the booms but I sure as hell feel the busts.
I've never been adverse to feeling busts ( just before someone else said it)
Scots voters have a tendency towards stupidity.
Most of them will vote against having another vote.
Mind you, they might just not bother voting this time.
I'd forgotten about the boobs ( nae like me)
Of course , for an auld bugger like me it was just yet another Scottish Cup win.
Actually, I think that I thought it had been a long enough wait since the previous one.
Getting old is a matter of time.
Anyway, absolutely ridiculous amount of time without a Scottish Cup win.
All to be put right next month.
COME ON YE REDS
Aye, 17 years goes quick eh?
Last time we won I left my heavily pregnant wife at home with our two sons and headed off to Hampden.
My daughter will be 27 in June .
Getting old, getting really old.
1/ I wiznae looking for a parking spot
2/ I'm against building the new stadium away from Pittodrie
3/ Why would Celtic being in the west stand at the cup final be any problem FFS!!!!!!!
4/ I'm nae having a go at Hearts and Hibs, I'm having a go at the SFA
Well, living in my North East bubble as I do, I don't know about sophisticated places like Glasgow.
But it looks to me ( in my own small way) that someone at the SFA sees Hibs as Edinburgh's Catholic team and Hearts as Edinburgh's Protestant team.
Got to go now, I've a field of neeps that won't plant itself.
Vive La France
Nothing could be further from the truth, France has completely thrown out Facism as a possibility.
First the cloggies now the froggies.
Europe has said " up yours" to American and English Nationalist policies.
The argument is about sectarianism.
Hibs get the Catholic end against us
Hearts get the Protestant end against us.
Don't you think, just as a gesture, just to disprove my accusation, they could toss a coin to see which end we get?
The fact that anyone accepts it is abhorrent.
1976 of course, as mentioned at least half a dozen times in this very thread, we got half the Protestant end and a wee bit of the South Stand.
I was in the South Stand with a wonderful view of constant flying bottles.
At least there is someone on here to keep me right.
Just one more question.
If the Dons had been playing Hearts in the final, has anyone any idea how the coin toss would have turned out?
