  1. Maybe it is being set up to get folk who hardly go to Pittodrie now to put a bit of cash into the club. The term AberDNA was enough to make me boak, sort of shyte which will be lapped up by muppets who think half and half scarfs are acceptable. Supporting your team used to be a simple concept, not anymore.
  2. A crock of shit, but I am sure plenty of folk in this part of the world will be up for it as it will make them feel a cut above the minks like me.
  3. Aye, dairylee was good on a roll and I also liked a cheese slice on them as well, that shitty stuff you put on cheeseburgers. I also used to like dipping them in a cup of coffee and make sandwiches out of them.
  4. My take on the whole Skripals situation was that if Russia/Putin was going to do it, then they would be dead. Also, in today's world I don't think we can say that only Russia make the nerve gas behind it. I am sure if Russia make it other countries do too, just like I am sure we make this type of shit too which the Russians will have access too also. I've no idea what really happened, but I just cannot believe a thing that comes out of the mouth of Boris Johnson and the other mouthpieces of the party he represents.
  5. Aitkens are the best by a country mile, but I'm a born and bred Torry loon, so I would say that. Also they make different types, so best to ask for your preference when buying. Lows the baker weren't too bad either. I see Aitkens have closed or closing their shops outwith their bakery in Glenbervie Road, I do hope they aren't going out of business.
  6. Yes, back to proper fitba instead of the sideshow of international games which I don't really care for. In for this one, just want to see us win. St J will no doubt be hard to breakdown, but hopefully the players will be up for this one after the break. 2-0 - May x2
  7. Another shocking refereeing decision today with the Motherwell boy Kipre being sent off for pushing the arse of Scott Brown with his boot. Broon just appears to get away with everything, yet our captain is on 15 bookings this season. The game is fucked.
  8. So, KIllie go and beat the hun in their own garden today, how the fuck can they do this and get a second win against them this season and yet we have been pretty abject in three games against them? SO fucking frustrating.
  9. May might be shite, but not exactly getting much in the way of support, same with Rooney. I honestly thought he was better today and think he might have been unlucky with the chalked off goal, but hard to tell in the Merkie. Woodman didn't have much to kick today, but I am sure there were other dodgy kicks today, though Dundee didn't do much in our box really.
  10. Well we got the win and deserved it as Dundee were pretty shite, though if their striker in the first half had a little more composure he would have had them 1-0 up, but he took a little too long and allowed Woody to make a good save and keep it 0-0. Collum couldn't get that yellow out quick enough for Shinnie in the opening stages, but he still gave us a captains performance and my goodness we need him. Collum is a strange ref though, makes some very strange decisons at times. Did we deserve a penalty in the second half? There was a couple of shouts, but sitting in the Merkie it is hard to tell. I though Chiddi did well for us today, he certainly doesn't hide on the pitch and you can tell he lacks experience at times with some daft decisions. I doubt he will ever be a EPL player though. I actually thought May did OK today, but he really needs that goal to give his confidence a boost, a pity the one shot he did put in the net was chalked off for a foul. I noticed when he was subbed it was just a little handshake from McInnes , who usually puts his arm around a player as they come off, might just have been we were taking a corner at the time. Woodmans kicking is shyte, I would even say worse than Langfield it is that bad. We got the win and we should have buried them, but we just didn't make our second half possession count. I did like the look of the boy Caulker for them though. I also forgot to mentione Christies miss for us today, the loon is well short of confidence at the moment.
  11. Hoping we can kick on from Tuesday night and get a convincing win tomorrow. Dundee could be a very difficult match for us tomorrow after last weeks hammering against St Jonstone and the events after the match and the players could either use it to support their manager and put in a performance or show that McCann has lost the dressing room and not give a shite and which we could give them a real doing. I predict a nice 2-0 win for the dons, McGinn and Rooney.
  12. Yes it has, the establishment has won. A lot of people still care but the vast majority really don't, it really is a case of looking after number one.
  13. Stephen Hawking dead at 76. Some going for a man who got told at 22 he would only last a few years which stretched out to 54.
  14. Thought we would do it and so we did, but my goodness it was a long night. 3 Players missing for the semi and you always get a bit anxious when DM has to replace his favorites and gets the tombola out, even more so that his number 1 man is out of the game, but I just hope someone comes into the team and plays a blinder for us and puts us into the final.
  15. A real old DM style ground out 1-0 win for the dandies tonight with the one and only Adam Rooney putting the ball into the back of the net. Hampden here we come. COYR
  16. 4-0 down to St Johnstone, at home, I have a feeling McCann will be the next manager to get his jotters.
  17. I haven't got an issue with him starting Ball, as he is no more shite than most other players who have played over the past few weeks in our midfield, but what does hack me off is just the overall randomness of DMs teams recently. I am sure the players, bar his untouchables, are as confused with his teams and tactics as we are. Still plenty of time to get the points though.
  18. This topic has an article in the lastest edition of When Saturday Comes. Not a bad aricle with a few decent points made, but not quite sure where the writer get the figure of 17k, as our average home attendance from.
  19. Back to winning ways tomorrow with a nice comfortable 0-3 win for us against Partick. Stevie May to get a much needed goal, with a brace from Rooney, one coming from the penalty spot. COYR
  20. Agree 100% with this. I think Christie has been asked to play deeper in the team and not his natural position, he is certainly an attack minded player and his best performances for us have been when he has had a free role to roam about the pitch. We are certainly a team stuggling for form at the moment, too much players off their game and having no real options to change things about. Our tombola tactics are equally frustrating, so much so I wonder if McInnes did sign for Rangers, but they loaned him back to us for the remainder of the season, best signing they ever made if they have. I do think Stewart has been treated poorly, he has been bombed out the team since Niall arrived and for me was just coming into a decent spell with us. We cannot argue about Niall being back in the team as he as he has been superb for the most part, but Stewart should have been given a chance at some point in the past few games. We cannot even say there is no point as he will not be here after May, because the same applies to lots of others players at the club. Regarding May, a mate of mine is a Sheffield loon and Wednesday fan and said when we signed him we have a decent player. He was apparently highly regarded as Sheffied, but the injuries killed his career with them, especially when they were struggling on the field also. I still think there is a player in him, but coming back into a team struggling for form isn't exactly helping his cause. I think a goal for him would give him a huge boost and allow him to kick on.
  21. Just back and going to take a bit of time to defrost from sitting through that 90 minutes. Thought we were fine in the first half, great goal from Shinnie, good to see him at left back and driving up and down the pitch, we should have scored again, but didn't have much clear cut chances despite having more possession, but why o why does he play Rooney on the wing though. Everyone and their dog knows what Rooney does, if he is not in the box he is no use whatsoever, I feel so sorry for him. Second half was a different story, we were pretty shite. Clarke makes two changes and suddenly Killie are a different team. Erwin comes on and starts to hold the ball up well and in doing so brings the wide players in to the game and cause us problems and the pace from the boy Clark wins them the penalty, where Arni and Logan fuck up to give the away the pen in which fat sumo Boyd smashes home and gives us fans both barrels. Despite Killie being the better team and when I say better I am not talking by much, we did have chances to get that second, but on reflection a draw was probably fair enough result. SHite game and shite weather to go with it. We needed our manager to change things in the second half, but just kept us the same shape when we were clearly crying out for a change. Thought Christie was shite today, hasn't looked great for a while and seems to be missing that bit of sparkle which he usually brings to the team. Thought McGinn was poor today also, but he did create a couple of chances. May didn't do much and Rooney on the wing just grips my shit. Stewart and Wright are not bad that they are contstanly overlooked, both could bring more to the team than Rooney on the wing. Fair play to the Killie fans who came up in numbers, cannot ever remember a time when they took up so much fans to Pittodrie, they will soon be back in their box though when Clarke leaves in the summer. I have a family wedding on cup final day and I really don't want to go and I really need us to get to the final for my excuse not to go, so please boys, just get the job done in the replay.
  22. Got my tickets for the game, but would be surprised if it went ahead. My 23 year old son is coming to this one and is usually a lucky charm in the cup...For the opposition! Still if it does go ahead, I think we shall have enough about us to get the result, but could be a dull game and it will be cold. 2-1 - Nicky Maynard overhead kick in the 92nd minute, when he gets his usual cameo, to seal the result.
  23. It always amazes me when you see them really shyte one week they manage to pull a result off like they did last weekend. I don't really like them as a club, but when you see the budget they have at their disposal they do pretty well. I also think Dundee and Partick have enough quality about them to stay up, but they are starting to run out of games. Should be a very tight run in at that end of the table. Brings back happy memories...Not!
  24. Every manager reaches their sell by date and McInnes has certainly done this to my eyes, he is starting to stink now. For me it's not just results, but our first team squad is fairly shyte and doesn't give us options to change things around. The lack of youth development is frightening with the Rogers situation a clear example of DM not being interested in our youth, people will point to McKenna, but I honestly don't think that was meant to happen. It's always a risk to change manager, but that shouldn't stop us from trying, this is when the faceless guys behind the scenes on large salaries should be earning their corn, it should have happened when McInnes made it clear he was interested in the Rangers job, there should have been no way back for him at that point, but they are more interested in Milne's vanity project at Kingsford than what is happening on the pitch. He has done a decent job at Aberdeen, but lets not kid ourselves he is our Savior and bigger than the club, which a lot of people seem to believe. If he carries on he will end up like JC did in becoming a figure of ridicule and despite my ramblings I don't think he deserves that.
  25. I would be surprised if Arnie starts again, not that I don't want him ahead of O'Connor, but he must have shat in DMs Cornflakes, as he hasn't had a lot of game time, so expect to see O'Connor alongside McKenna for this one, with Christie and Shinnie back in midfield. I cannot see Harvie starting again this season, so Considine will be in the usual place. Bar McKenna our defence has been honking this season. I watched the Motherwell Dundee game on Alba and Dundee played them off the park, but Motherwell still managed to escape with 3 points. I imagine we will do the same to them tomorrow. McInnes will ensure we strive for the three points tomorrow.
