Maybe he is not better, but he sure as hell deserved a chance to show us what he could do over the course of 6-10 games. If we had signed an experienced keeper to replace him with then fair enough as that's what DM wanted, but another young keeper was just another kick in the balls for our youth system. Another fucked up bit of thinking from our manager.
-
McKimmie is a complete bell end of a human being, but he was an excellent right back and Logan couldn't lace his boots. I went on You Tube last night and watched some games from the 80s where we destroyed both sides of the OF. It is not something I do often, but just wanted to remember what it felt like having a manager who didn't give a fuck about the OF and players who never wanted to be beaten when they took to the pitch.
-
Well, I will go against the grain here and say we were better than expected, probably a better performance against them tham the previous few and with a bit more composure from some players may even of changed the outcome, I even thought we were on top for spells in the game, but just didn't make it count. We should have scored today, but we somehow managed not to, that is the difference in these games, don't take your chances and you end up suffering. Thought the Man City boy did well enough today in the middle of the park, but with O'Connor alongside him we weren't exactly blessed with footballing ability in the centre and it showed. Thought Logan was honking today, his decision making was very poor. McLean was fouled everytime he went near the ball. Woodman is shyte and I hope Rogers gives DM a good right hook when he goes in the summer, Rogers, nae DM, we are not that fortunate, he deserves it for dropping him for a shyte keeper. Still grates that we show them so much respect when they deserve none.
-
I know it has been said many times before, but the turnaround of Killie under Clarke has been very impressive.
-
Even when we were shyte for years and years I used to always look forward to games against either of the scum, but I don't now and not looking forward to Sunday. I reckon we will be done 3-1, but I honestly want to proved wrong.
-
Apparently the school did have an on site armed policeman.
-
I was thinking Ball would replace Shinnie, as he has had a bit of game time the past few games, but you never know with DM, we might end up with Maynard playing at centre half.
-
Well that was cold. Job done, but we didn't half make hard work of it in the second half. Rooney scored a typical poachers goal for the opener, but his all round play outside the box is woeful, we all know what Rooney brings to the team, but DM must see something in him that none of us ever has. O'Connor is a liability, if we haven't got a better centre back than him to play alongside McKenna then we have problems. Is Ball not capable of playing centre back? He honestly couldn't be any worse, well he could, but I doubt it. I am not convinced with Woodman either, I know it's early days, but just doesn't inspire confidence, but he has probably never played behind a liability like O'Connor. Didn't think SHinnie deserved to be booked in the first half, but with Collum ref nothing should surprise us. Has to be the worst Utd team I have seen, shame! Bring on Killie

Nobody needs to explain what tactics/set up is needed to beat them as that is what McInnes is paid for. He has had plenty of time to fashion a squad of players to cope with what is thrown at him, yes he has a smaller budget than the cheeks, but a club like us should be looking to supplement our squad with youth, something we haven't really done under DM and if being honest I don't think we ever will with him in charge, but that is another argument. We have enough to beat both the cheeks, Celtic, I admit, we would need everything to go our way to get a result as they are undoubtedly a better team than us, but not without their weaknesses, but I honestly don't think Rangers are and their results this season have shown that and on more than one occasion and it is not down to each team who get points from them playing the same tactics against them and we cannot match that.
-
In for this one, wasn't meant to be due to having other things to do, but have managed to put these off in order to go along. All we should need for motivation is the article their manager wrote about us having it so easy for a long time as Hibs, Hearts and Rangers weren't in the league, such an easy league the jute cunts got relegated and boy how I laughed. I would love it, Keegan style, if we hammered these cunts, hate them with a passion. 4-0 Rooney x 4

Being 'up for it' may not be the be all and end all, but it certainly helps. We are a team of fairly strong character and is evident in our ability in games to fall behind, but more often than not, will actually go on to take the three points. When we play either of the cheeks it is like something is missing before we take to the pitch and our players take to the pitch looking devoid of energy and ideas. I can handle the defeat, but it's the manner of them which hurts and for me DM takes the blame on that front.
-
Aye, they could go down, but I suspect it will be Hamilton, after seeing them on Saturday, who will finish bottom with Ross County being in the play offs. I think Dundee will have enough to survive along with Thistle and St J, but my predictions will probably turn out to shyte now.

The answer to the question about Tansey was pretty brutal, but this should have been picked up long before he signed. I wonder if his signing was anything to do with Shinnie, who is apparently very friendly with Tansey, just a thought. I think McLean is a good player, but for whatever reason has under achieved overall in a dons jersey, which I believe is mainly how he is used in our team. I hope he does well at his Norwich though. I think on the whole most fans are pissed off at seeing us do well against 9 teams in the league and then watch us capitulate to both the cheeks. If McInnes hasn't learned how much we detest them and what it means to get beat by them, in his 5 years here, then he never will. The defeats we could accept if we put in performances, but for the most part we are woeful.

Watched the highlights online and that was some finish from Considine for the opener. Any striker would have been proud of it. I was hoping to see a chance where Rooney did some good work outside the box to get an opening, but his lack of pace screwed up the finish, I think the covering defender made up ground to stop the shot, but it should have been buried in the back of the net. I had also forgot about the McKenna deflected shot in the first half, which nearly caught out their keeper. Niall McGinn though is really showing how much we missed him and I was one of the fuds who wanted him away at the end of last season, shows you I know sweet FA.
-
I don't think he has been that great since that week DM was supposedly going. You still get 100%, but not the same level we usually get from him. With a player like him you notice a drop in standards.
-
The mindset of the manager has a lot to do with it. I believe we have lost each game to the cheeks this season long before the team takes to the pitch and lay the blame with our manager.
-
I can only assume that Arnason has fitness issues? A strange one though if not, considering we apparently paid a fee for him.
-
A shite game which we deservedly won. Great having Niall back and the break he had seems to have done him a world of good, looks so fresh, he has certainly gave us back something which we were missing in the first half of the season. It is also a great watching McKenna, he is an impressive player and was great to see him get the captains armband when Shinnie went off Feel sorry for the loon Rogers, didn't think he deserved to be dropped, but DM knows best..... I don't think we learned anything from todays match we didn't look like losing as Hamilton were awful, worst team I have seen all season, but to be fair there were a couple of short spells in the game when they looked on top, but they are so bad. Be very surprised if they manage to stay up yet again. No young outfield players on the bench today, that is an area which needs to be addressed ASAP, if our youth players are worse than Nicky Maynard and Dom Ball, then something is very wrong.

Been liking the new Ty Segall tune. Those who listen regular to the Marc Riley show will be familiar with his work

Dunkirk - Tries to hard to work for me overall, but not without its merits. I would say the the 1950s version of Dunkirk is a better film on the subject. Darkest Hour - Wasn't overly impressed with this and fail to see what the hyperbole was all about. Oldman was decent enough and I rate him as an actor, but I thought The Gathering Storm, with Albert Finney, was a better story of Churchill.
-
A truly great film which was more deserving of Oscar nomination than either Dunkirk or Darkest Hour
-
The album was released two weeks ago, the single, or what we class as a single nowadays, was released January 5th. Regardless of when released through it is still a cracking tune.
-
In Would stick to the line up from Wednesday, but suspect we may see Woodman in goal and O'Connor in for Arnason. We should play them off the park, but Hamilton can raise their game against us, so will go for a comfortable 2-0 victory. An early Shinnie opener and a late Rooney finish to settle our nerves.
-
Been played loads on 6 Music for weeks now. The group did a session for Lauren Levern last week which was good. The lass has a great voice.
-
Another tricky game for us. I feel County are due a result and I hope it's not tomorrow night. I think it will be the same starting 11 as from Saturday, but I would like to see Rooney benched, but we have no real options to replace him. WOuld also like to see Arnason back in defence, which would probably mean Ball benched and O'Connor back in midfield. 1-0 O'Connor with a 50 yard screamer which will earn him his dream move to Crewe.
