  1. Impressive turnaround. I'm assuming they'll be allowed a sub. Cant believe you deleted my previous posts. You're going to have to get some [thisIsJustAJoke/] tags for the forum to save me having to explain my terrible sense of humour.
  2. But again, it has to be a player who English fans will recognise. Same with fabregas. We'll get Strachan at some point too I expect. Again, all firmly based in being a token Scot familiar to England (Strachan obviously coached the national side, but the point stands). It's fucking ridiculous that there isn't coverage of the entire tournament on the BBC Scotland channel.
  3. It's the fact that we have to watch it through an English lens. It's fucking tragic. Why Ferdinand and Shearer? Why are they better pundits than, say, Neil McCann and Ricky Foster? I'm not saying they are or aren't, it's just that they're there on a UK television channel to satiate an English audience. Fucking cunts. Fine to pay them a fortune for English match of the day shite, but that shouldn't automatically transcend European international fitba. They can fuck off.
  4. Nah, I just heard it thirteenth hand. Probably a heap of balls. I think Ross will turn out to be very good. Hopefully it's for us.
  5. Ross turned down a contract offer? Not good if true.
  6. Could be the next Edmondson. To be honest, the success rate of 19 year old loanees is going to be pretty low, for much the same reasons as our own 19 year olds struggle with both physicality and consistency. Even maddison struggled to hold down a place here as his workrate hadn't developed to the required standard and he was kicked regularly.
  7. Yep, he's got a plumbing business to run, he should put that first and recognise that social media isn't a place for trying to make jokes even if they're well intentioned. He'd be better off making an actual point if he's annoyed in any way, which he doesn't seem to be. I disagree about Brown, he wasn't even close to the best player on the park in our recent game and nearly all our midfield out performed him. I'm not expecting a lot from him and will be happy if he still has what it takes and hope that he adds something behind the scenes in his assistant role. I'd be extremely cautious about hyping him up if I were AFC, and if he's our marquee signing it's nae really that inspiring.
  8. I don't think he needs to be the focal point of our marketing campaign. It's disrespectful to those that have been here longer. Big Andy should have been the lead photo. It's utterly classless that he hasn't apologised for the handling of the Logan situation, both from him and the club. If there was any link between talking a good game and actually producing then I'd be happy with Brown's comments, but I don't think people should put as much onus on them as they do.
  9. That is fucking ace. They had better be your insurance company. Even if you don't need insurance.
  10. He was in the YouTube video, so he's not dead.
  11. Our new strip seems to have a minky Tim in it this season. Racist Tim
  12. I don't actually, I must've missed that one. Doesn't surprise me in the least. Thing is, it could just be that the Hun were more up on the rules and system than us, we need to be absolutely on top of the requirements as we'll definitely struggle to justify visas for the level of player we'll be looking to take in.
  13. How does this work then? We've got to take our case to the SFA, who decide if he's going to be given a work permit? This is surely a fairly flawed process? Already, the scum have a distinct advantage as they can afford to buy an international player, but I'm guessing that pretty much every signing of theirs who doesn't meet the international matches criteria will also be prioritised for a visa too. To be honest, I can't see what this guy has done to merit a visa over any other player, but then I have no idea how the SFA work their system.
  14. Out of 100 eh? That's the thing about percentages...
  15. I think he's signed for Port Vale.
  16. Time on BBC running it close so far. Brilliant stuff.
  17. Interesting. Doesn't seem to be particularly prolific. Looks like Devlin signing until January too, which is thoroughly undeserved but I suppose it saves looking for another centre half to challenge Gallagher.
  18. Bound to be agent rumoury pish. Can we even sign guys like this post Brexit? Do they not have to have played in X% internationals?
  19. I'd like to apologise for making this statement. Curtis fucking Main? Seriously Jim? What shite have you been snorting?
  20. Yep, O'Donnell has done very well and raises his game to a good standard when playing for Scotland. He's had a few assists over the years and quite often overshadows Robertson on the opposite side who hasn't actually had a particular strong Scotland career despite being a very good footballer. Patterson got into the Hun team when Tavernier was injured and played well, but I think it would be the wrong decision to put him in ahead of O'Donnell and I think he is defensively suspect.
  21. Yep, they've got fairly good fullbacks with tavernier and barisic, so it's not a failure to be second to them. However, from memory, he wasn't exactly a stand out for the u21s, and it's clearly appeasement that sees him in the squad.
  22. I'm guessing we're waiting for our new recruitment guy to come in.
  23. Don't worry, Billy Gilmour's big team will tell him he can't play anymore and Considine will get his shirt back.
