Fa's Boab Coyle? I liked McLeish as Scotland manager, but he can just take that back when Strachan goes and that'd be fine. Don't wish him ill as he's a nice guy and a legend (and also didn't pursue the recent hun vacancy), but I think him being at the dons would be too contentious for some and he'd be on a hiding to nothing from day one. Black I'd have, if it wasn't for the recent bribe scandal. A shame, as he speaks intelligently and I think he could have been a decent option. He'd be the equivalent of employing Malkay Mckay, and only a fucking idiot would do that. I'd go for Jack Ross in the above list.

Aye, fit 100AK said, that's fit I remember. Cummings didn't/doesn't like Milne. Also a software man as it turns out. Cormack was portrayed as being all hat and no cock by some at the time. Basically, I think, for not calling Milne out.

Nice one. Good spot.

It's okay, I'll provide the link that should have accompanied the starting of a new thread. Just as well some of us about board etiquette. Although, I expect there's a thread somewhere fae 2002 that could have been resurrected. http://www.afc.co.uk/news/9690.php#.WT-simgrLZs

From what? Any links anyone?

Aye, decent guy, with a good intelligent attitude. Fit's the deal like, is he investing?

Jacque Fresco deed. Must have missed it, seems it was a few weeks ago. Top work on the Venus project.

I'd love to see the results from your passionometer

I have a wee problem with this. Much like the huge over-stating that goes on around the "Old Firm" games, I think the Scotland v England game is being hugely over-stated here (by you!). I think it's very much a fixture of the past, and has lost most of its appeal due to the stagnation of Scotland (and to an extent, England) over the last 20 years. I suspect few people outwith the British Isles give a fuck about it either, whereas it probably used to get a lot of attention due to the quality of player on show from both sides. Same as the old firm shite, I don't believe in dragging up the past to support a current argument, the fixture simply isn't one of the greatest fixtures in the world. In fact, it's probably no greater a rivalry now than that of the other two teams in our group: Slovenia and Slovakia. Spain v Portugal, France v Belgium, Germany v Holland, Brazil v Argentina etc etc are all miles bigger fixtures these days. We're probably akin to something like Northern v Republic Ireland in terms of quality of fixture. That's not to stay it isn't important to Scotland, however, I was more excited about the recent Poland and Germany games than I was the Engurland one (although I was at those, which helped). Similarly when we played Spain under Levein. I think clinging to games like the England one takes away from our overall goal for tournament qualification. The glorious failures (not that Saturday was failure) and occasional great performances against the bigger sides aren't something I can get excited about. I attended the Lithuania game at the start of the qualification with the intention of going to most of the games this campaign, but was appalled by the attitude of the management. Those are the games that are more important to me.

Stewart has skill, creativity and can play fitba. Storey never had any of those abilities.
-
Ach, they looked fucked. They had a good game. Very unlucky not to get the points. Strachan should have began his Scotland career approaching every game like it was his last.
-
You better not have gone to bed nips.
-
Nips, you'll be pleased to know I got changed into my kilt at half time. Appears to be making the difference. Fraser to score the winner.
-
I just gave you a bunch of reasons why folk might not feel quite the same as you, I'm not criticising yer attitude in any way. It's meaningless in terms of qualification, when it very much shouldn't have been. Anyway, you don't even live in the country yer so passionate about...
-
This one's a meaningless fixture because of Strachan's utter incompetence ensuring our failure to qualify is pretty much guaranteed already. In general, the fixture is vastly diluted by the fact that Scottish fitba is entirely irrelevant in England. Few of our players play in their top league (or top of their top league anyway) and any rivalry was lost at the turn of the century at the point we failed to qualify for tournaments. Even in this country, there's little interest. The mass of EPL-lovers probably have no idea the game is on. Added to this is the fact that it's taken us to play England for a Scotland game to actually be shown on cooncil telly. Naebidy's that interested. I'll watch it like, through gritted teeth. The Lithunia game (and the travel home from Hampden listening to the little cunt on the radio) was the last straw with that ginger fuck. Anyway, I hope we win, obviously, but our game is in the position it deserves to be in this country and it's unsurprising naebody gives a fuck. Meanwhile, the rugger poofs are playing some phenomenal rugger against Italy in a sport that we seem to be actually decent at.

Nah, think he was out of contract. Unfortunate timing for them with his injury. Would have come in handy for the new stand.

The fucking DUP. Holy ballsack. This is what we have backing our government http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/dup-mp-gregory-campbell-wants-sale-of-ouija-boards-regulated-31094502.html

That's not what I said though. The SNP were entirely correct to call the indyref2. They had the mandate at Holyrood, Scotland had been screwed by Brexit and - crucially - they were not going to be held to account for another 4 years because Theresa May had already ruled out a general election. Nobody thought there would have been an election - not even the majority of Tories. If the SNP hadn't called indy ref 2, it would have been a massive missed opportunity. Brexit was the biggest thing to happen in 30 years, that wasn't something to pass up. They just got unlucky with the timing. In hindsight, they should have waited until the end of the year to vote on it at Holyrood, when it was more clear the Brexit negotiations were being fucked up. However, the need to put Scotland front and centre of negotiations - which it did - was absolutely essential. Independence was a good tool to do that with. Even if a referendum never happened, the threat of it was good enough to make Westminster think. That's now been removed, and a clever Tory party will exploit that by largely excluding Scotland from the negotiations.
-
It's entirely understandable though isn't it? A lot of people in the North East didn't want independence. It's FPTP. Ergo, vote for Tory. It was either a tactical masterstroke to take the SNP out of the game by calling the election after the announcement of IndyRef2 around Brexit time, or just luck in timing. Either way, the SNP were caught out by it, and folk who didn't want another referendum were left with little option. DUP though? Thon's a fucked up bunch of cunts. Given the result of the election, it's absurd that the Tories are shacking up with a party that's further to the right of them. That's a little out of the spirit of things I'd say, that's certainly not the mandate they were given.

2 each after tie-break. Should be a good final set.
-
2-1 to Murray just now with breaks all over the shop in the third. Wouldn't be surprised if it went the distance.
-
If that doesn't make people renew their tickets, I don't know what will.
-
Tories and DUP it is then. Hopefully the Quine tells thon pair of hun cunts to get fucked and state that she's decided to take over instead. That'd set the cat among them.
-
The huns are back and spending. A lot less of our games will be moved.
