Ronnie and Gurr took shite to such extremes, I struggle to judge any other right back.
-
My conclusion is that Scales has done well and can be disappointed to be thrown in the sea due to the arrival of our new wonder signing.
-
Decent ish performance today. As others have said, not sure how that transposes to the league. Our subs killed the game, McRorie not the answer at left centre half, so if Al is right about a new left back then shifting Hancock into centre would be a far better option. Stewart wins everything in the air, Richardson doesn't seem to be good enough, Scales looks decent, Miovski and Duk will be struggling to be match sharp for the Tims. Ramadani was okay, but not as dominant as I expected (as someone else mentioned, Barron has looked better for us previously, although we can likely accommodate both). Kennedy wasn't pish, but not great either, a good backup. There's something I don't trust about Roos. A great start to the season though and still plenty of work to be done. Hayes, McRorie and Hancock our best players.
-
Miovski straight in, with the number 9 shirt too. Ramirez must be on his way.
-
I have an unsigned copy too, but a lovely offer seabass!

Deliberate attempt at a jinx from the establishment Huns. They've always hated us.
-
We can certainly hold our heads high. We're the pride of the SPFL bottom six.
-
It'll all get setup ready to go and the Huns will concoct a conspiracy preventing it being implemented.

It's ridiculous though. Hibs should be allowed to go out by virtue of being shite at fitba like everyone else. To be honest, this happens too often and raises a fundamental flaw in the administration of our game in the 21st century. I mentioned this a few years back when some part time outfit were being punished, but it's even more ridiculous now. It shouldn't be possible for Hibs (or Stranraer) to field an ineligible player. A system should be in place whereby you submit your team lines online, that connects to the SPFL database and returns any ineligible player instantly giving the team the opportunity to correct. It's absolutely bullshit that this function doesn't exist. Teams getting thrown out based on admin is completely anti sport. At a time when we're ruining the game with hyper-tech VAR, this simple application is still not available at about 1/1000th of the cost. Admin is not what sport is, and it shouldn't decide the outcome of anything ever. Hibs are a big enough team not to have made the error (although they have had a complete turnover of staff), but Stranraer will have some part time person who maybe wasn't there last season and doesn't know who is suspended. We should be helping clubs and removing these things from the game, it's extremely black or white.
-
Their biggest hope is that Falkirk fuck up against Clyde and get a draw. That's not completely unrealistic. Imagine Hibs fluke themselves into third best second placed team on Saturday, giving us the opportunity to allow Raith to beat us by a single goal and knock them out?

BBC in pathetic grovelling apology to the scum for reporting the truth meaning we'll now have even greater saturation of the scum on radio Scotland. What a complete lack of integrity. What's the point? It'd be unfair to ask our resident BBC'r for comment, it's very easy to criticise when yer livelihood doesn't depend on it. Must have been made an infinitely shiter place to work overnight. Kenny McIntyre will be happy though.

I specifically said that playing Bates on the right side was the least worse option. He's half as shite on the right.

Bob Dylan: "Your Phone Will Be Locked Away Or No Show."
RicoS321 replied to SeeBass's topic in Football Chat
I think you make a very good point. I'm guessing Dylan is concerned that if people have their phones, then there's a greater chance they might arrange a taxi to leave his show. We've definitely gone too far down the phone hole in society though. You're right about football matches, but I expect that's significantly worse in yer Manchester football than watching the Dons. There's undoubtedly a massive addiction issue, worse than anything we've experienced as a species I expect, with phones. Social media has to be described as an overall negative, with any benefits completely outweighed by its infectious design. -
It's very obvious that duk has missed training. Think the 45 minutes of match sharpness is wasted on a guy so far behind. Probably a bit harsh, but there's a risk of injury to think about too. Barron a huge loss. Ramadani strikes me as being very much like Jack (but with added incisive passing), covering the fullbacks and having a great understanding of the game. He'll need somebody dynamic, willing to run and good on the ball. With McRorie moving back, we have nobody that resembles that (he doesn't adequately do those either). McRorie has proven to be fairly honking at left centre back, I find it very strange that Stewart can't be switched and expect he'd fair a lot better on his wrong foot. It's a dubious move, made more dubious by removing McRorie from midfield with no adequate replacement. I'm surprised Hancock isn't in the running for left centre back, as he looks like a centre back. I'm guessing he's first in line for left back, which makes that side of the defence even more important. I'd move Stewart across and play Bates. Think that's the least worse option.

He looks a lot more fun than Curtis Main. He's more Josh Magennis. Should be ace. Edit: once he loses the three additional stones.
-
Duk has the pace and balance of Austin Samuels, whilst carrying the weight of Emmanuel-Thomas.
-
The dook on. Looks like he's borrowed John McGinn's airse.

No, just watching the red TV from, em, France.
-
Looking good
-
Some goal. Great pass from scales, and then the perfect ball with his right from Hayes for Ramirez. Quality.
-
Good goal. Well played by both him and McRorie.
-
You're in Stirling, give it time.
-
I'm guessing that we're paying them several hundred thousand to take McLennan.
