It should have been at least 2 with a release clause. All that means is Hoban could leave for a fee than free, why wouldn't Hoban do that?? I doubt we have looked for millions.....although that would be preferable. Then again, does Hoban worry that nobody will pay a fee for someone with his injury past?

Thought we'd see Fraser start for that reason, plus I was hoping for McLean's creativity but has he ever looked strong in a Scotland shirt? Then again it could quite easily be a 3-5-2 with the width coming from wingbacks ODonnell and Robertson, and McTom in the back 3. I actually think that's more likely.

Primarily their social justice position. But if I say that out loud I get branded a racist. In the democratically run states and cities we've seen an increase in crime and violence, and these places appear less stable. Worries me that a democratically run country would go more that way too. Just doesn't seen inclusive or focused on bringing people together. This country will always have race issues but this approach doesn't appear to be doing much good. I'm by no means saying Trump is the solution, but it's local govt. run by the democrats that appears to have gone to shit in recent months.

You know anything?? To be honest, obviously my opinion, Leigh is the type of player we need to keep in a squad. As DM said today., he can play left back, left central defense, left wing back, and left mid/winger. Good to have that flexibility, plus he's a good age! Certainly finance limiting the contract makes sense too.

Greg Leigh signed until January. Don’t quite understand the length of contract unless we have fitness/health concerns?? I get that the short term deal of Watkins was due to injuries, but would have thought Leigh would get at least a full season.

Out if curiosity, why would you think he couldn’t? I get that it’s challenging for a small full back to be moved more centrally, but he’s a big and pacy strapping boy, I’d like to think he’d be capable. Can’t be any worse than Ash!

Lindsay and Devlin were the top two up and coming central defenders a few years back. I wanted either or both, then Lindsay went to England and Devlin fucked his knee. Haven’t heard about Lindsay since. Based on memory he ‘was’ a good defender, no clue how it went down south.

Zero complaints from me, we’ve won 8 of 11 and playing way better than the last few years. My eyes don’t bleed! Winning ugly is the sign of a good team! Wonder if we get any offers for Ferguson before the window closes. Given we accepted the offer for Cosgrove and McKenna is gone, I’d assume he’d go. Plus we declined higher offers for McKenna in the past, wouldn’t be surprised we grab what we can for Ferguson. Get the boy from Motherwell signed as the replacement. What would people be saying if Marley Watkins was on penalties and you add those to his total. Really curious to see what happens when Cosgrove is fit. Watkins isn’t perfect but his movement is excellent as he’s been a big part of our improved performances this season so far.

Of course it is, this place is wacko right now. Trump is in power because of the nations disgust with and protest of the whole political system, but clearly this place has gotten worse. I just think had the democrats found some younger and inspirational visionary who could motivate and promote unity we may have been onto something. But it’s two polar opposite parties led by bickering old men, plus the democrats have gone more left on policy and that has definitely scared those who are pretty much in the middle (like me.....I think!) Don’t see the election making a difference regardless of who wins, this place is fucked up for a good while longer.

I don't really agree. Think Sporting who got pumped today would have beaten Dundalk, or the Faroes team, as would we. It's just a fucked up system of the draw and seedings, I think.

And Dundalk in the group stage, beat a team from the Faroes today. I don't know how the draw and seedings work but I'd have fancied our chances against either. Oh well.

It's awful. So embarrassing too. I'm so upset that the democrats had four years to come up with a plan and a candidate to win an election and this is the best they could do. Two bickering old men. It also says a lot about the country in general and where it is as a culture that Donald Trump could be president for 8 years. Regardless of policies, a president should be someone you are proud to represent a country (hopefully), this is the opposite.

As I mentioned above, does McInnes maybe see McCrorie moving back there to replace McKenna??? He's been great in midfield but maybe it's easier to find a quality midfielder right now than defender hence moving McCrorie?

Thinking out of the box a little, do we maybe see McCrorie as McKenna's replacement at the back (obviously more right sided and Hoban/Considine the left) and Campbell partnering Ferguson in midfield? Alternatively, Ojo and McGeough are gone in the summer, correct? Having Campbell signed now replacing them is not too many players, and playing two from Ferguson, McCrorie, and Campbell is a good thing.

It would not be a big deal if all of these players were released, provided we fill up the squad for next year. In my eyes, none are key players. With the way Wright is playing I think he's now earned an extension/new contract, plus he seems to bring the best out in Hedges which helps. No clue about Virtanen and Ethan Ross, cheap extension, maybe loan out or release. Main, Taylor, Devlin - release, not good enough for our ambitions. Use as bait for new signing and a swap plus cash to Motherwell, St Mirren or the likes. Anderson, McLennan - I don't think they will be given the playing time to develop. Move them on. McGinn, Logan - I think they are passed it and we should be developing youth here. Too expensive to fill the bench. Kennedy has replaced McGinn and Hernandez replaced Logan anyway. Considine - I get slated for saying this but I've never really been a fan. Love that he's a die hard don but he's like Taylor in my eyes, always prone to an error, give away a penalty etc., but unlike Taylor still gets us goals. I'd rather have Greg Leigh at left back and in central defense he's slow and prone to diving in. It worries me having a back 3 right now including him and Taylor. I think he'll be a cheap extension so fine to keep. Cerny - I'd rather we developed youth and worst case bring an experienced keeper on loan if Lewis gets injured and we don't feel the youth is ready.
