  1. Not sure how many of you live in the states, but trump is the ā€˜safe’ candidate! Biden is a fossil puppet and the Democratic Party has gone so liberal it’s nuts. I just want common sense to occur regularly, is that a lot to ask?? I’ve been here 25 years and the country has lost the plot.
  2. I suppose I’d clarify, meaning rigged in the sense of other scottish teams getting an easier draw. Bigger picture, I only watch dons games in Europe. Zero interest in the format and probably lost interest close to the time it was changed from three european tournaments to two, you know, when football mattered more and it wasn’t purely money.
  3. I hear you, but geez, we’d all like an easier draw initially, no?
  4. Don’t disagree, it’s just the financial gains in getting to the group stages are huge for us, even more so this year. Don’t give a shit if we get the best teams in the world in the group stages, a bit of luck in the draw allowing us to get there would be appreciated!
  5. Obviously got to get past Viking, but sporting away and then you see the draw for rangers, Celtic etc. I know it’s certainly not rigged but it always seems we get the toughest qualifying draw, burnley, kiarat, Rijeka....and the others certainly my get an easier ride!
  6. Pretty sure Dave Cormack said in one of his covid interviews that we paid 800k for Hernandez.
  7. Agree with tup here. Watkins is a worker, big Sam is a lazy fucker much of the time. I’d argue it’s his movement that creates the spaces for wright hedges and co. It’s partly poor coaching that we see so much hoof ball when Sam is in there, and now take him out and we almost immediately stop with the endless lump it up the field. There’s been more and more positives with every game we’ve played this season, positives from Watkins Kennedy Hayes Wright Ferguson and hedges, all in attacking positions. I don’t want main on the park at all and I see adding Cosgrove as a backwards move. We’re making progress right now by the looks of things, hope this momentum continues.
  8. I wouldn’t say brilliant, I’d say professional. It’s very early days yet but we look a much better attacking team, good chemistry between Wright and Hedges, and Watkins puts in a shift. We play the ball more on the deck and create more.
  9. Solid win, second half I thought the shape was better and hibs didn’t cause as much trouble. McCrorie was excellent again but I do want to mention tommie Hoban, another very good game. We’ve got defensive options which is very positive, but the lack of time from Hernandez is a little worrying since we spent a fair amount of money there. I’ll also get criticism for this, but despite his passion, effort, and love for the club, big Andy is definitely our weak link at the back.
  10. Also expect a back 4 to start the second half, were vulnerable, but tough choice on who to bring off.
  11. Been said before, despite the goals, we’re a better team without Cosgrove. Less long ball shite (although it is still there), and you can see we have creative talent with the ball at our feet. Yet again McCrorie impresses, third different position he’s played so far I think, plus I do like Watkins, his mobility causes problems and drags out defenders. Hope he gets a goal second half, all that he’s missing.
  12. Interesting to see how that lines up???? 3-4-3 type of thing with wright Watkins and hedges up top???
  13. Definitely agree Boyle is their dangerman and we actually have a fair few options to counter. We’ve got either a back 3 or 4, and in Logan, Hernandez, Taylor, Considine, McKenna, McCrorie, Hoban, and Hayes, we’ve got real variety. I’d be inclined to go with McCrorie-Hoban-McKenna-Hayes which shouldn’t get beaten for pace, although I don’t see DM not playing Considine. lewis mccrorie-Hoban-McKenna-hayes ferguson-McGeough mcginn-Wright-hedges wadkins 2-1 us, Watkins and Wright
  14. Wow. Blown away that common sense seems to have raised its unusual head at the SFA.....
  15. Started to worry McInnes outsmarted himself with too many changes and formation change, but after the first goal it became really apparent they were shit. Much like last year with the impressive early European result, it’s all relative. Shout out to Hayes and hedges for two very good goals. Still worry about to much chopping and changing of line ups and formations. We have two games a week for the most part so the bigger squad is definitely needed, but McInnes isn’t over good at managing form and squad rotation. Who knows what we’ll see against hibs, but we get info on potential suspensions for the covid 8 tomorrow, correct? Much like last year, we have good attacking players so really don’t need to play defensive tactics in league games, and that includes against the old firm. Lastly, mccrory strolled through this one, liking that guy!
  16. When’s the draw for the next round?
  17. Good win. And agree, only 2 games but McCrorie looks a very good signing. Thought Watkins looked ok too, should have scored at least one but can’t complain!
  18. Curtis Main???? Didn’t even see him on the bench!!!
  19. I’m not so sure it’s game management, more trying to get players match fit. Mcgeough needs minutes, as does Logan, Watkins, hedges etc. in fact all our players do! Plenty of games coming up, squad rotation is actually needed!
  20. Watkins reminds me a bit of Adam Rooney.... is that good??
  21. I hope McInnes is watching this game. Second goal is exactly what we are capable of if we put the ball on the deck and move it quickly to feet. Lovely stuff.
  22. Can I get a little more detail on this guy??? Is he a skilled attacking mid, the #10 we’ve all been crying out for......? Not the center forward we’re missing at present, but maybe playing just behind mcginn at 9?
  23. Sounds like Watkins is like a mcginn/Scotty Wright??? We have an ever growing squad, DM getting transfer support despite being shit with signings for the most part. Don’t get why he doesn’t coach what he’s got and adjust his shitty tactics.
  24. No clue how to edit in the new format. Moult!
  25. Stunned with the search for a striker we haven’t been linked with.........Louis Mount! Looks like he missed much of last season with a significant knee injury too, seems the perfect fit for us!
