BigAl Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Jimmy said in the EE today that Soapy is in goal and doesnt know why he thought he might of been dropped Tombola effect Quote
SWA Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Any save is a good save for an outfield player who suddenly finds himself in goals. Nonsense Robbie showed a lot of guts to do what he did that day True though Quote
Mentorred Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 Can I change my vote to Winters :hammer: Quote
TENEMENTFUNSTER Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 I did - both keepers have their faults - but think Langfield is possibly more of a big game keeper - well he has more experience in big games. I think swapping keepers before this game would probably be a mistake though... save Langfield for the final Langfield is the better keeper, by some distance too. Quote
One Bobby Clark Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 New keeper added to list for next season..... That was nearly as bad as Getafe's mannequin in the last 5 mins on Thurs night. Quote
quirie Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 Langfield has to be back in goal next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
BrownyBrown Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 Its a sad reflection of the state of our team that there is not competition between the keepers to be in the team, rather competition to be dropped to the bench. They are both fucking shite. Langfield will be back in goals until he makes an arse of things again. Quote
