I am now interested, could go down, visit family see how everyone is doing, live at my aunts or gans then get my uncle to take me to the airport, then meet alot of dandies in Holland then get pished and watch all of our new signing play exciting football.

Saying that we got a £5 deal going out that was only on last week. No idea how much they will cost across normally.

Auf Wiedersehen EasyJet!

RYANAIR WELCOMES EASYJETS DECISION TO DESERT DORTMUND

Ryanair, Europe’s low fare airline, says “Auf Wiedersehen!†EasyJet, after their announcement today (12th June) that EasyJet has started consultations with its staff on the closure of its Dortmund base where EasyJet has 3 aircraft and 11 routes. EasyJet started its base in Dortmund in 2005. Ryanair started a competing base in Düsseldorf-Weeze in 2007 and just 1 year later EasyJet announced that they plan to desert Dortmund, because they cannot compete with Ryanair’s lower fares to/from Düsseldorf-Weeze.

Speaking today, Ryanair’s Daniel de Carvalho said:

“EasyJet’s high fares cannot compete with Ryanair’s lowest fares from nearby Düsseldorf-Weeze. It was just a matter of time before EasyJet deserted Dortmund. So it’s “Auf Wiedersehen†EasyJet’s high fares and “Willkommen†more Ryanair’s lowest fares at Düsseldorf-Weeze.

To celebrate EasyJet deserting Dortmund, Ryanair released 100 000 seats at €10 including taxes and fees on its 22 routes from Düsseldorf-Weeze. EasyJet passengers, tired of high fares, should go and snap the guaranteed lowest fares at www.ryanair.com.

EasyJet’s decision to desert Dortmund leaves it with just one German base in Berlin, compared to Ryanair’s 3 German bases in Frankfurt-Hahn, Düsseldorf-Weeze and Bremen.

Auf Wiedersehen EasyJet at Dortmund!â€

Also, I was talking to a Huntly player in the pub on Sunday and he told me we're playing them in our last pre-season friendly before the season starts. It's the day the highland league kicks off, they've got a free saturday so are playing us.

Where is everybody staying in Holland?

We were planning on staying in Amsterdam from 28th-31st, then Eindhoven until the 3rd. Although, i'd rather be staying where everybody else is staying, wherever that may be...

Jimmy Calderwood even terug op het “oude nestâ€

SV RIETVOGELS v ABERDEEN FC

With the Dons on their pre season tour to Holland...

The Dons have taken off from Dyce today ahead off on their pre season trip to Holland. A number of new faces are hoping to impress the manager. The squad touch down in Amsterdam, before travelling to their base in Hengelo.  They'll play five matches against Dutch sides, including Vittesse Arnhem. Just before leaving Zander Diamond admitted that a persistent injury could mean he doesn't play in any of the games, in hope of being fully fit for the start of the news season. Boss Jimmy Calderwood comes up against his son Scott in the first game tomorrow night against DZC.

Seems to be out of the way, doubt anyone will be staying there and bump into them.

I see Club Bruges offered to fly us and pay all our expenses to play them in a friendly the day after our last game in Holland. It's a pity we couldn't accommodate that as it would have been a better test than most of the Dutch teams we'll be playing.

Had text from mate in Holland and saying that tonights game venue has been changed (or rather it was scheduled for there all along apparently) to place called Dieren which is 15 miles from the advertised Doetinchem so if anyone has any mates over maybe give them a text and let them know.
